I was looking at Avis prices and they're outrageous.

I go to hotwire, see who is cheaper and then book direct with the car company. Once in a while I will book the pre-paid rates with hotwire it I save enough.

Dear CO,

I am available for hire as a beverage consultant. I can assist you with straightening out your abysmal selection of alcohol in the Presidents Clubs.

Sincerely Yours,

-A concerned drunkard.

Wakey wakey, Box.

I'm awake! I was awake before 6:00 AM!

And you know what sucks more than getting up before 6:00 AM to take a crappy Chautauqua CRJ? Getting up before 6:00 AM to take a crappy Chautauqua CRJ that's busted up and broken in just about every way possible resulting in a multi-hour delay on the ground and then missing your connection at IAH.

Fortunately I'm at IAH now and the good people at CO greeted me in the Presidents Club by handing me a boarding pass for a new flight home, in F, preserving my EUA. ^^ to Continental. :td::td::td::td::td::td::td::td: to Continental's sucktastic regional partner Chautauqua. Thank God those ratty CRJs are going out of the COEX fleet very, very soon.

Only 45? Ha! That ain't nothing! Try 2+ hours waiting for Chautauqua to fix multiple problems with a broken CRJ they flew in a somewhat broken condition to LBB last night!

Dunno. I'm usually sitting on a surplus of free days from National. And if I'm not, I'm such a point whore I'll still rent from them on my normal contract code, or check the National FT forum for discount codes.

You might check the Avis forum on here for discount codes. They maintain a thread for those.

Just arrived from my DL CR9 flight and am now haning out in what was the BE lounge (and is now a regular CRC) in T2 at JFK. The walkway they have from the remote parking stands to the terminal is really crude, and the terminal itself is somewhat of a dump.

You would be happy with the Plymouth gin that is available here at the old BE lounge in T2 at JFK.
