MR BL has come over to the dark side. I had to cancel CDG for today due to BL JR being sick and he said "So what are you going to do; she needs the miles". This is the man that had status exactly one time in his life before being with me:rolleyes:. So I dutifully booked a BF flight for she and I departing the 29th (the day we return from our Christmas break, ugh) and back to IAH on the 31st. Only one full day in London, but I booked us near Big Ben, etc. so it will be just fine. She's a bit disappointed in not seeing the Eiffel Tower, but I told her that we'll go another time and she was fine. I'm happy to have my only free weekend back and actually this trip will be easier than the Paris one would have been (for me, at least).

Not sure if y'all saw on the premium deals thread but there are several dates SNA-BDL for $808 AI (8799 EQMs) in R for the SNA-EWR and Y for the EWR-BDL portions. A good premium MR for anyone needing those last minute miles.

Just found out that the Fantastic Suite I got upgraded to at the W Mexico City back in May is actually priced out as a "Specialty Select" Standard Room for points purposes, rather than at Suite rates. Accordingly, it's only 14,500 points/night, rather than 24,000 points/night. ^

Just switched my MEX reservation for the Honeymoon.

Crap. I should have bought my partner's flight to Dallas for next weekend last night. The price went up over $125 over night.

One of several stops, to be sure. It lets him catch the MEX-TIJ-NRT flight on AM.

Absolutely! The air quality and smog make for a lovely evening on the veranda.

What's strange is that the BDL-EWR in Y does not show 150% EQMs...

IAH-MEX(o)-TIJ-NRT(x)-ICN(o)-BKK(x)-HKT(o)-BKK(o)-SVO(x)-PRG(o)-CDG(o)-AMS(x)-DFW

ETA - We only have one night in MEX, and will be killing time the following day (MEX-TIJ-NRT leaves late) checking out the temples at Teotihuacan, as she has never been.
