Sometimes you just need to clean the pipes with a daisy cutter! After the polish dog I had for dinner at MDW on Sunday, I came darn close to a BK or Wendys run on Monday. Ughhh!

Beef Barley Soup use to be my weapon of choice, but the Security Council banned the use for cruelty to companion animals and significant others.

I'm torn on the DO flights, too. I would love to find a creative routing but am not feeling all that motivated to do so. I'm thinking that I might just end up on the noon PHL flight, too. I'm sure I'll be in Y at this point, but that's fine. I've got plenty of CO Currency Coupons. What are the chances of getting a special catering allowance for the flight?? :D

I also may look at a one-way car rental to PHL from NYC. If there are enough of us and it is cheap enough it certainly is easier and faster than dealing with the bus and then the train. And I'm pretty sure that CO Fan will be on the same flights, too.

I definitely have more flexibility on the return flight but haven't found anything fun there either.

If you and CO Fan join the rest of us, that's 7. Someone could rent something large enough for 5 or 6 people and pick everyone up along the way. Of the list of people on that flight, I think I'm the only one that's close enough to PHL to not get in on the car rental.

Two Tacos of Dubious Vintage at the Maui Tacos in MSP

Somehow, I survived.

There are far, far better food options at MSP than that Maui Tacos.

I've never understood why someone thought a Hawaiian themed taco joint was a good idea.

Someone over in the other room here decided to have milk with her tacos last night - - and I think there were a few Security Council violations.

Take my two year old Golden Retriever for a couple days and that will smell like roses. It gets so bad that he and his 11 year old brother leave the room with me wondering why until it wafts up to nose level.

My prized Beef and Turnip Stew (With Leeks and Parsnips added, for good measure), made from a thick red-wine and beef-stock base has been known to take it to Eleven.

Good lord! Did you need to install hand rails in your WC?!?! Much less a bidet to put out the fire?

The Significant Otter has banned me from making it. :D

I love Goldens. Best dogs ever. I think the fiancee has sold me on custom-ordering a Labradoodle once we're set up together. It's hilarious that they leave the room...my old dog would sit there and proudly bask in it.

My best friends wife has implemented a complete ban on him ingesting even a spoonful of my chili, which is a tradition for the Super Bowl here in MBM3land. About 10 years ago it hit him so bad that they did not make it home before he needed to vacate and the resulting emissions caused a two night stay in the penalty box.

Nothing like an hour drive home on the freeway in the middle of the Ohio winter with the windows wide open!

Goldens are indeed great dogs, have one now. I also have two Labs (use them for hunting got to admit they are better at it then my Golden) But the worse offender by far is my Boxer, he can peel paint off of the walls

I just drive down there in my own car on the PA side and park in the good, cheap, offsite lot.

My parents have a German Shepherd/Chow mix that's known for getting up, sniffing the air, and then walking out when she's expelled a particularly odoriferous fart.
