There are two things I hate, thieves and liars.
I walked out to my car this evening to grab a CD my wife's friend's band had produced so that I could rip it to my computer and listen to it on the way to BRU. I open the car door and start looking for my CD case which is usually underneath the passenger seat. Nothing. My wife comes out and looks with me thinking that maybe I put them in the trunk or something. Again, nothing. Apparently I left the doors unlocked somewhere and the CDs are now gone. We cannot recall the last time we saw them which means it could have happened anywhere. For me it's not a huge loss because almost all of my CDs are backed up on my computer, my wife on the other hand had a few CDs that are irreplaceable in that particular case and she's a little sad about the whole thing. Frankly, I'm just angry. Yeah, it was dumb of me to leave the doors unlocked but that does not mean "Come take my stuff"... I'm just thankful nothing else was in the car at the time. |

Haha. I was a ladies man on the playground at age 5. I remember coming home one day at lunch after half-day kindergarten and telling my parents I was going to marry both Amy and Ginger, two girls in my class. And the next day I added Joanna to that list. Funny how things turned out quite different in the end. :D
Jr had a "crush" on the 14 year old down the street for over a year. A few weeks ago (after seeing him with another girl his own age) she went to his house and told him she was "dumping" him because he was playing hard to get. She did, several days later, apologize for dumping him, but did tell him she was still dumping him. How she knows these things I do not know. I am blaming the stupid princess movies. She has since moved on to a five year old in her class but hasn't told him. I like it that way. All of this drives her father nuts whose 11 year old could care less about boys (or at least doesn't tell us about it if she does). He didn't have any grey hair before she was born, btw. |
It was hot date night in CM-land: we did her mother's food shopping.
Sorry to hear of your troubles ssullivan - and this too shall pass. I really should set about making my list of those I must meet at the Do/Meet/Thing and those to whom I will publicly  if the chance presents itself. I'm already doubling the number of FTers I've met just by being on the party flight, and there's plenty more that I wish to associate faces to posts with, and yet several more that I wish I could deploy a whoopie cushion upon. |

Yes, but did you notice he didn't waste it. He poured it into my glass for me to drink. Which I did.

True friends are always good for both booze and bail money.
