Any thoughts on those and I will make a reservation ASAP. One thing about Empire Cafe is that the area is very busy, but Sunday morning should be quiet, so that's a plus.

Backstreet Cafe and Empire Cafe both look good to me.

If the plan we discussed works out, I think you can take my +1 off the list.

FYI - I'm planning something in the NY area for either April 4 or 11. More news in its own thread... I figured I'd give y'all a heads-up :p

Might want to keep in mind that April 11 is Easter weekend.

Will this include activities at EWR or just dinner?

I pay for some subscription to get extra stuff that I never use (I did once and haven't since). So I should at least stop doing that

Just for the record, I'm not bailing anyone out of jail in BRU. :D

Good point. She does have a passport.

I really hate the Lincoln tunnel.:mad: 1010 wins said it was 5-10 minutes, then when we get on route 3 it morphed into 30-45. Sons of bi****s.

In any event the wife and I were at Artisinal making mozzarella. That was pretty cool. ^ In a small world moment we ended up sitting next to the parents of a girl I graduated high school with.

April 4th is going to be a very  day for me, I think.

What about Cadillac Bar? It's about 20 mins from the airport? A great brunch and Margaritas as per CM's request. They do have a private party room that we may be able to get. Just a thought.

That's something I was thinking about. I know it's not as nice as the unique places that Hartmann suggested, but it may be easier to get into.

Ok, my B&H/UPS rant was for nothing. The tracking number is now showing as "In Transit". It looks like UPS just forgot to scan it when they picked it up.

And talk about a posting spree, it took me 1:47 to catch up on the box.:D:o:rolleyes:

You'll have to wait to find out, now won't you?

Fair enough. :D

I'll hold both days on my calendar.

UPS is bad about not scanning. I had a package once that was on the truck for delivery that still showed it was close to 1,000 miles away at the time it arrived.

It seems they do not scan well when leaving some hubs and distribution points. I tend not to use them anyhow since we went through a rash of lost boxes at a former employee. Nothing like losing original legal documents!

I'm surprised to hear all of these bad UPS stories. I've never had any problems with them (although, I prefer FedEx) - even this scanning issue was new to me.
