Not so much that. More that their re-accommodation team consisted of someone who only answered the phone once a week and would continuously say that "the flights have not officially been canceled. We just are no longer operating them, have closed down the JFK station, and have issued a press release stating that we're no longer flying this route."

By them not officially canceling the flights, until about a week before they were supposed to operate, they blocked you from rebooking.

Now to see if I can convince the Significant Otter that Paris can wait until after the honeymoon... BKK-IST-CPT has 2x C availability. At 37,500 BD mi. apiece for one-way tix, that's nothing to be sneezed at...

She tries not too eat chicken or meat , but she does sometimes , and now for the last few months she has become vegan . She says it is only to see if she can do it for a few months.
I told her they would not let her into Argentina when we go for my cousin's wedding in March if she lists "Non Meat eater " on her customs form .

I'm hoping so. She's considering the issue at the moment. I made sure to let her know that it would be "peak penguin season," not that I'm trying to manipulate her decision, or anything...

Isn't refusing to eat cow punishable by death in Argentina? How they haven't gone to war with India yet is beyond me.

Ok, i'll give you that. That is quite annoying. They wouldn't just rebook you on the LAX-BKK flight?

Of course, i'm afraid I'll book the LAX-BKK flight and then they'll cancel it since they've been so iffy about keeping it.

I'm sitting in a banking job fair...before anyone asks, I know a VP here. Anyway, point is that I'd forgotten that the banking industry seems to have some kind of lock on cute young things. I look like Frankenstein compared to some of what is sitting around me.
