Time to get up and go clear security. You might have a plane to fly out on shortly. Good luck.

Are you missing a real bolt or a pin with a ring that secures it in place? Oh check that belts are tightened properly. The people at Home Depot didn't put mine together properly and it wouldn't through snow very far until I spent and hour adjusting the belts and clutch.

I am missing a 4 inch nut and bolt and some type of steel tube that runs through it. I remember checking all the bolts year, but I guess I missed one  I am not sure about the belts though, I dont know enough about these things to know what I am doing with the belts and chains and such. I do know that I should not sick my hand in the chute to clear out a "clog", but rather shut it down and use the stick they provided, which is more than I can say for some

I did have fun playing with the snow thrower until the wheel fell off
I did my elderly neighbors sidewalk, parking space and driveway first. I then moved onto my sidewalk and driveway and half way through it broke. :( See what I get for being a good guy.

Night, Box. My fiancee just saw me type that and she called me a dork. The Christmas present pile doesn't have to be as large as it is...

No, no, noooo! Second rule of snowblowing: Do thy own property first. I don't care how much someone is digging at that 4 foot mound left by the plow at the end of thier driveway: no neighborly help until my 150 ft. of sidewalk, fire hydrant, corner, dog path and driveway are done first.:D

New Jersey people should be proud.--HAHA

Absolutely on that 2nd rule. Now back to watching the Ford Fiesta being chased by a Corvette in a shopping mall. Strictly a factual test drive of the Fiesta.

Well I am official torked off. I actually pushed slush around today as I knew the temp would be dropping and didn't want anyone, such as the UPS gal delivering my new Sony receiver, hitting the deck. Well guess who bounced down the stairs after retrieving the mail? Yup, that be me coming darn close to needing someone to call the bus to haul me off. Luckily the noggin didn't connect with anything, but me shoulder, elbow and hand are gonna be sore in the morning.

Hrm, AF raised their fare to CDG after dropping it a week or so ago. Not that I should read too much into it, but CO lagged AF by a few days, but I don't know if they're charging more due to the USD falling vs. the EUR, or they're just raising the fares.

Is there a way to keep flipping a reservation with their 24 hour cancel window, so reserve it, cancel it 23 hours later and re-do it, and so on in case it goes down? Of course if it goes up you'll have to $hit or get off the pot.

Well, if you elect to pay with cash and change your mind....

Yapta is your friend, sir. I had a professor use that expression in a lecture during my junior year of college and I still think of him whenever I hear or read it. The best part was that he used it while talking about a Supreme Court decision.

Morning, Box!

The local fire department must have been bored this morning. Usually the Santa in the fire truck thing is at most one or two pieces of equipment. Nope. Not here. A hook and ladder leading the procession, then a pumper, then a Suburban towing a boat with Santa in the boat (eh?) and then a battalion chief SUV following behind just to keep an eye on the boys. And of course the ladder and pumper had the sirens set differently, so there's just a cacophany of what the hell going down the sleepy suburban street at 9:30. I'm all about Christmas; I used to run out to that fire truck when I was a kid too. But really, fellas. Treating the Saturday morning before Christmas like it's the Memorial Day parade =. It just now occurred that since I'm a foriegn visitor in Eagles country, I should have tried to assimilate with the natives...I really should have gone outside and booed Santa.

Well it’s the weekend and here it is. I fully embarrass myself this year with my holiday greeting video. Not nearly as Shanteresk as expected (couldn’t find non vocal version of song I usually do it to) but it’s a dramatic spoken word song. Ok, it's OVERLY dramatic in a Rex Harrison sort of way. The original opening had CO/FT references that the trained eye may have spotted (reward confirmation letter, CO currency, DO III luggage tag) but that scene didn’t work out right. Enjoy my utter humiliation. :D

You should at least be able to equal or surpass yesterday's drinking score with the free booze that they serve up in those luxury boxes. :D

It is most certainly not free, thought it is freely served. The rates they charge are pretty ridiculous. Not quite NYC bottle service prices, but it can be close, depending on the venue. Of course, if someone else is buying, have at it. ;)
