Today, through 9PM Pacific Time, there have been 366. So no, there was no normal weather today. :o |

Not too surprising as it doesn't make sense for CO to keep operations at LGW only for a 1x daily seasonal flight. CDG will probably drop because of SkyTeam. FRA is too far, right? I wonder if they could do BRU to connect to SN. I'd say MAN and the BD connections, but those would seem to be disappearing pretty quickly, too.
I'd really like to see them route more flights via CLE to Europe - because it is such a drag to have to connect at EWR. With as unpredicable as that is - it seems like it would be a benefit to have that option out of CLE. But what do I know, right? ;) |

Friday I had my final flight, in Y, thanks to CO completely selling out F on my 733-operated IAH-ATL flight (something that never happens). Here are my stats for the year, thanks to FlightMemory:

Agreed. I think it will come down to the fact that they are extending the runways to support international traffic, and it is disappearing as they are building the runway. We'll see what happens. Maybe they can get a seasonal slot at LHR, which would be good. My source said they were planning on seeing 76s here... but I'll believe that when I see it. If we did get 76s here - then I don't think there'd be a problem getting to FRA for onward connections.

Not my best year, but this was the most flights I've ever had, but the distances were pretty short for the most part.

I don't have a flight memory, because it would look like this:
PIT-EWR-PIT-EWR-PIT-EWR-PIT-EWR-PIT-EWR-PIT-EWR-PIT-EWR-PIT-EWR-PIT-EWR-PIT-EWR.... |
Ugh - I didn't get home until 5:30 this morning. We left IAH about 3 hours late and didn't get in to EWR until 4am. I'm exhausted.
The good news - I flew my last flight of the year last night and requalified for Plat about 100 miles outside of IAH. ^ |

Nothing too exciting for me this year. As usual, I just made it to Plat. :)

It was ZERO degrees here last night. I am not ready for this arctic breeze!!
My youngest (boy) who is a HS senior, sleeps with the windows of his room open and a ceiling fan going. He even has a small fan attached to his headboard and it runs all winter. When it gets this cold, I don't even go into his room, it is so cold. In the summer, he dies since it is way too warm for him. Needless to say, his college apps were decided on location, and it was all North, although he didn't take us up on the U. of Minn. :D |
