ssullivan, did you plan a mini do for the week of thanksgiving?

I had an enjoyable time talking with you and Mr. Baglady.
Wow....just read about your flight diverting to ABQ. Glad everything is ok and that you will make it home later than expected.

Doh, I read it wrong. That's like the fifth time this week that I've been wrong. What is the world coming to?! ;)

About to head out the door for AMA and I am not bringing a laptop  There's a first time for everything!

I will have my Canon AE-1 though.

Glad everyone is alright BL! I bet that was one heck of an experience!

Is that a Canon AE-1 as in a film camera? Wow, haven't seen one of those in a long time! I learned to use a SLR on one of those in high school.

I have several film cameras in house, and actually learned on a large format film camera in high school while working for the yearbook. Film still gives the most vivid results in my opinion, but you yungins simply would not understand.

:)

I've got a few film cameras still floating around, including a Nikonos III underwater get up and an old Canon with an underwater housing. I've also got a medium-format camera that shoots on 120 roll film that my father-in-law gave me a few years back. It is an amazing kit but a bit bulky to carry around all the time. I do still use it on occasion around town and even on some trips, and I've gotten some great pictures from it.

+1

Although, I do like being able to shoot six gigs of images on a single trip and not have to purchase hundreds of rolls of film.

Rcvd. Alice Cooper, Christopher Titus, Alice Cooper, k.d. lang, The Who. Zeppelin tribute if that floats your boat. We're only booked to about 75%.

ETA: Halloween here is not to be missed. Two of our cocktail servers were sent home for being too revealing...even the Front Desk agents are looking positively slutty in their jailhouse outfits.

Unfortunately I have to preside over giving directions to a Halloween nightclub event hosted by none other than Scary Spice. Haha, I get it...

That is useless without photos.

YES, I have an Upper Class reward ticket.

I would much rather just bring my 21” Atlantic carry-on/roller bag with me.

Maybe I will just check the bag and not schlep it with me. I dont want to get hassled my them trying to bring two bags. I will be taking my camera and maybe video camera to get shots of the uc cabin.

I don't know how generous they will be with two bags - if you had just the rollaboard, they might look the other way.

Any more info about CO1743? Did it really have both engines out?
