Can someone tell me if I am missing an airline that does weekend specials? Ive already looked at CO (not available yet), AA, and DL.

UA and US both also do them. AA actually releases them a week in advance, which is nice.

My general experience is that DL's are more expensive than not and that CO's are reasonably priced for many destinations out of NYC. AA has fewer NYC departures. I don't really follow UA/US ones.

Looks like most of the party is going to take place in the back of the bus. Bring lots of currency coupons!

Since both of us get the mailing each year and never (well almost never) sit in the back of the plane, I will donate a dozen CO drink coupons to the group leaving from PHL. Somebody send me a mailing address so that I can get them out timely.

Cool PDA and Blackberry App.

I found this cool website www.worldmatelive.com or www.wmlive.com where you can download a program for your windows based pda or blackberry and synchronize your travel plans. You can just fwd them your itinerary emails and their system enters it in for you and automatically synchronizes with your device.

Just thought I would share it.

Enjoy :)

I had not noticed this mentioned before. I just noticed that co.com has a list of 777 aircraft that has the new AVOD.

Home > Travel Information > Onboard Amenities > Aircraft > Boeing 777-200ER with 50/235 Configuration (777)

It looks like they more then 50% percent of the aircraft done so far.

does this mean they will just offer 1 type of 777 configuration now, not the 48/50?

Have you tried tripit.com? Better or worse?

They still offer both based on where they expect the non-AVODs to be, but more of the maps are showing the AVOD config at booking now.

Oh man...I've got plans I absolutely can't break. That would've been fun. The $95 in taxes doesn't make it too much fun, though the 752 on the outbound would be nice. PVR is a decent option, too, though again with the taxes.

MR BL got some great swag from the golf tourney Sat (he just brought it home tonight). Gotta love those Vodka distributors ^.

I tried tripit, seems cool, but wmlive is way cooler. it's not web based, you need to download the app to your pda, but it is worth it. I love it. It gives you a world clock, weather, converter, travel plans all for free. If you want flight stats and rebooking help, you have to pay for that, but who needs that, we are all pros here

Ya, the taxes are a deal breaker there. I wish there would have been FLL or anywhere to TX. Next option is getting a rental car at EWR and driving somewhere. I have yet to drive a car up here so I will try to stay away from the city but does anyone have any suggestions on where to go? I was thinking Niagra Falls but I heard that was pretty boring (which would be good because I need to study). Plus that would give me some extra HHonors stays on the cheap.
