I'd hate to see this place flagged (or possibly closed) by the mods.
If I ever say anything that crosses any sort of line - everyone, feel free to PM me. I'm fast with my edit tool. |

I've noticed the increased mod presence in the Box lately. I was wondering if that was simply because we're such an entertaining group, or if people weren't so happy with some of the conversations going on in here.

Those roads are used by anyone going to and from the airport, not just those stuck because of the lack of de-icing equipment.
I was just saying, for those of us that don't o/d in IAH, maybe investing in another de-icing station is higher on our priority list. It's my opinion that it's certainly in CO's best interest from an operational standpoint. How much money did they lose the other night... Okay, I'm done. Promise. I've never heard that anyone had a specific problem with discussing other threads, and bringing up discussion points in here. Sometimes replying to certain threads is like stepping into quick-sand. The Box is a much more tolerant environment where you can air your grievance(s) and bury your thoughts between the random discussion du jour. Regarding my attendance at the "gathering of CO customers, employees, and fanboys." Dunno. I can't commit until January or so. I would, very much, like to go. |

I don't think these posts will do anything to the Box, they're actually good posts. This information needs to be brought up.

or Get a minimum 5% discount on Continental to get to and from the DO when booking at continental.com. Simply go to continental.com and make enter ZF8UDJQ4LR in the Offer Code box when making your booking. The special Cigarman/Continental DO IV discount will be good for travel to Houston starting on Feb 2 and travel must be completed by Feb 12. |
The Box is an interesting phenomena. Keep it at the interesting conversation , according to the T&Cs and not creating a subculture and I think everything will be fine. Otherwise, the mods (myself included) will need to enact penalties as used with others in the past. I do not need to cite examples - just be fair, welcoming and friendly!

Based on FT, I must be the only happy customer Chase has, who has never had a problem with them.
