I'd hate to see this place flagged (or possibly closed) by the mods.

I've noticed the increased mod presence in the Box lately. I was wondering if that was simply because we're such an entertaining group, or if people weren't so happy with some of the conversations going on in here.

If I ever say anything that crosses any sort of line - everyone, feel free to PM me. I'm fast with my edit tool.

I have wondered the same. :)

Have I ever shared, with The Box, my love for the Eagle Creek Pack-It folders and cubes? I don't know what I'd do without these things!

Definitely the former, it would have to be. :D

I was just saying, for those of us that don't o/d in IAH, maybe investing in another de-icing station is higher on our priority list. It's my opinion that it's certainly in CO's best interest from an operational standpoint. How much money did they lose the other night...

Okay, I'm done. Promise.

I've never heard that anyone had a specific problem with discussing other threads, and bringing up discussion points in here.

Sometimes replying to certain threads is like stepping into quick-sand. The Box is a much more tolerant environment where you can air your grievance(s) and bury your thoughts between the random discussion du jour.

Regarding my attendance at the "gathering of CO customers, employees, and fanboys." Dunno. I can't commit until January or so. I would, very much, like to go.

I agree. I think the problems come in to play when other members are discussed. I see no problem with discussing other threads/topics/etc - but then again, I'm not a mod so who cares what I think. :D

The Box is an interesting phenomena. Keep it at the interesting conversation , according to the T&Cs and not creating a subculture and I think everything will be fine. Otherwise, the mods (myself included) will need to enact penalties as used with others in the past. I do not need to cite examples - just be fair, welcoming and friendly!

You might be lazy, but any gathering of Box Denizens while at the Do/Meet/Thing would be incomplete without you and you know it. :D

No EUA for me

Ugh. Here's my flight on Friday.

[KVS Availability Tool 3.3.2/Platinum - Apollo: ITN/US-ARL]
Code:

IAH  Houston George Bush Intercnt'l TX US [KIAH]
ATL  Atlanta William B Hartsfield GA US [KATL]
FRI  19 Dec 2008

Carrier  Flight From Depart    To  Arrive    A/C  St  Availability
--------- ------ ---- --------- ---- --------- ---- ---- -----------------------------------------------
CO        320    IAH  14:45    ATL  17:50    733  0    A0 D0 Z0 R0 Y0 H0 K0 M0 N0 B0 O0 V0 U0 Q0 I0 S0 W0 T0 X0 L0

Guess where I'm sitting? (Hint, it isn't what anyone would consider a "good" seat on the 733.)

And yes, I know I could be a bump whore on this one. But the rest of the day is all 0's as well. So a bump probably means an unplanned night in Houston.
