Exactly! Waiting in this case is a good thing. They don't start your order until you've placed it. Same thing with Whataburger, which, BTW, was my dinner tonight, since there's one near the Mall of Louisiana where I went to start my Christmas shopping tonight.

Shopping in Baton Rouge further confirms my belief that it is darn near impossible to find good help in this town. I think Macy's had maybe 10 people working in the entire store, and Dillard's wasn't much better. It took 15 minutes  for me to find an employee who could process my return. :td: And usually that store has pretty good service, and doesn't ignore you.

I'll just continue making trips to a CRC at ATL to steal them. :p

There in the PCs too, but sometimes you just have to ask.

I know, but if I'm going to covertly sneak them out at the airline's expense, I'll let DL be the one to take the hit for that.

This is true! I will get some at BNA after the first of the year. Good plan!

You can always buy them at www.biscoff.com/delta and collect skymiles in the process. ^

G'Morning, Box! I hate having to be in the office by 8am. Very annoying.

Morning, Box! I see that nearly every school district in Northern NJ has called it quits, and there's not a flake to be had, but reports of 3-6". The ABC morning crew went out of their way to remind people that their flights may be cancelled. ^

Then I saw the storm on the West Coast that is more than likely going to be here in time to mess with my flights. White Christmases are great if you're here for them. It's not appetizing to have to travel on either side of one.

Here in CLE (at least southeast CLE) everything is coated in ice. It is supposed to turn to rain, then back to snow/ice later today. Looks great, but I'll be a mess.

Here's hoping we have power!

In NY too. The Canuck is all snug in the bed and there's not a flake in the sky.

When her phone rang at 445am  she just laughed. "Dumb downstaters."
Bah.

And, of course, I'm doing the EMS thing tonight. First snow fall always confirms a Darwinian theory or two.

Glad the 5 Guys mission went well! ^

That's why I could never do EMS. I have way too warped of an outlook on things. I have empathy for truly bad situations, but I have no empathy for outright stupidity.

Hey, did anyone else hear that Obama can't find a hotel room in DC for the inauguration? I can see Obama himself on the phone with reservation agents being told that he does a great impersonation and getting hung up on.

Upon entering the main entrance I immediately notice there is no elite access line :td: and that I must order my meal with the unwashed masses:eek: . While waiting in the general queue for only about 3-4 minutes ^, I noticed all the print media articles about Five Guys and was impressed ^. It seems as if they are Zagat rated and have had very high ratings from a few major print media outlets. I was called up to the next available screener and I ordered a Cheeseburger with tomato and grilled onions, medium Fries and a medium soft drink. Even though I was extremely thirsty, no need to purchase a large when the refills are free :o. I waited for about 10 minutes for my order number to be called :td:. While I waited I snacked on the free peanuts ^. When my order was called, I claimed my bag of food and proceeded to the nearest available table. I unwrapped my burger, inspected it and it looked nothing like the one featured on the cover of the magazines hanging on the wall :td:. I took my first bite and it was freaking Awesome™ ^. Tasty, flavorful and just delicious. The fries were Awesome™ as well, fresh cut fries ^.

How could I have gone for so long without ever trying this place?

Excellent trip report, except the misuse of the term "Awesome." ;)
