I've never done this, so please correct me if I'm wrong. If the weather waiver ends up getting extended to 12/25, I can nix change fees on the whole thing and either refund it back to form of payment or get it in a cert for future use? That said, it sounds like there's nothing stopping me from (assuming the waiver is extended) cxling mine and the fiancee's FLL tickets, rebooking them as one-ways, and joining the Travel Club in the meantime. Did I get that right?

ETA: 12/22 to 12/25 EWR-FLL. Since 12/22 is an affected date, I don't need to worry about when I'm coming home, right?

Correct. But are you going to get the same fares if you rebook as the one ways?? Or are you planning on just booking the trip at another time? Or something else? :confused:

I use UTOG. I have an account set up with them so I can just call and have a car show up. Eventually the charges show up on my CC bill. I've never had a problem with them. Ever.

Ehh, I looked and it's not worth it. A couple of weeks ago the CO one-ways were down to $69. Now they are $149 and we paid $219 for each of us originally. I (we) can't fail to be in FLL, but I would have considered canceling, joining the Travel Club, and then rebooking four one-ways for the credits if the math had been on my side.

I just purchased my first flight for 2009, and it's a Y fare. Going to start the year off right with an instant upgrade on my very first flight in 2009. :D

It's pointless for me to even try. There's no way that my cheap fare bucket will be out there a week before Christmas. That violates the class of service thing. Meh.
