Good deal. I'm -31 since 10/1 - when I stopped living at the Westin and started living at home again. Cutting out carbs is doing amazing things. Of course, I'd kill for a pizza, but that's another story.
Hope you feel better! I just had a stomach growl that played about five different notes and kinda hurt. OK, OK, I'll go find some munchies. |

I'm staying at the Le Meridien Etoile for the honeymoon. It's fairly centrally located, not far from the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower (the tower is about 3/4 of a mile away). Their newly renovated Executive-Floor rooms are supposed to be very nice.

That should make it easier to fit in those coach seats ;)

Someday, God willing. For now, I content myself with the knowledge that I have been in University/Law School since 1998, have more degrees than I can shake a stick at, and am earning less than I did when I managed a Radioshack, before I even earned my B.A.

Actually, most FT events are good networking opportunities as most of us are successful professionals. But there is a valid point that networking should happen earlier in the evening rather than later as most FTers get pretty over served! :)
I might suggest making or getting some personal business cards to distribute if you meet anyone in your field. |

Good Day everyone, heading over to Paris for the first time in March. Any recommendations for nice, centrally-located, hotels to do the sight-seeing/tourist thingy?
We stayed here a couple months ago and found it walkable to many cultural things and public transit. More importantly, many great cafes a short stumble away. www.hotel-paris-saint-germain.com |
I have lost a lot of wait now that I am not spending most of my time in a hotel. Just not a lot of healthy options for eating, nor was I able to make my usual morning smoothies and big salads for dinner.
Once I find the gym again the tons will fly off! |

We love staying on the Left Bank near St. Germain and also love off season travel to Paris.

I have been a member since the TravelClub started, have never redeemed, book one-ways in markets served by WN or B6 (where One-Ways are half what the roundtrip costs), and book all travel for my immediate family and some friends through my CO.com account.

The roof of The Box appears to be leaking. There's some OMNI dripping in. :D

I'm staying at the Westin in Feb, so I can report back on that. :) |

LMAO Hopefully the Box won't get moved to OMNI country. That would be sad.

Thanks. You must have kicked the carbs cold turkey (Atkins?) to put up that kind of a loss that quickly. Re: pizza - I have found that denying yourself everything only leads to bitterness. I'm trying to adhere to having one day a week where nothing is off-limits. Helps my sanity drastically.

I have stayed at the Westin Paris as another non branded hotel , that was in a great location ( across the street from the back entrance of the Ritz.). Im making phone calls to find out the name .

My understanding is that the understanding that is in place basically says that The Box is not to become a militant separatist faction of FT...FT already has one of those anyway; it's called TS/S. Otherwise, the black helicopters will come.
should the black helicopters storm the box . |
