It turns out on return to the gate they said it was just the indicator light which is what caused the pilot to reject the take-off.

At least it was "just" the indicator (and not the actual hatch) ...

Here is a good qoute from that article: "Consider it a digestive orgasm." Try thinking about that the next time at IHOP, Dennys, Waffle House, Jims, etc....

Ah the Box. I was thinking of sending the pictures to my travel companion for my July NRT Trip and say that I booked us some inexpensive rooms! :D

Actually doesnt sound too bad. How appropriate that a Penalty Box person slept in a Box. Glad to hear you made it back home in one piece. I am sure that the bed felt good today.

Good Morning BOX!

Thanks. I am usually pretty laid back and roll with it, but there are times when I just do not tolerate stupidity and rude people.

Like my dear mother says, people need to be told they are a'holes!

:D

also I was at Best Buy today and they have the similar Acer EEpc with the bigger screen .

B&H is showing it as sold out and the the Best Buys by me don't carry the Acer. J&R was the only one semi-local showing it in stock.

It wouldn't see so bad if they had wall paper or somethng in there instead of the unfinished plywood look.

This flight is packed with college chotches going to Mexico and Central America for spring break with way too many carryons.

How much stuff do they need to take on vacation to a warm place?

You're in New Jersey today?

Hmmm, new IHOP opening up near me soon. I curse the people at Oscar Meyer for the pre-cooked bacon but I've learned to resist the store's strategic placement of the boxes of such goodness.

Morning, Box. I'm really already quite tired of CO.com eating my seat assignments, and it's only happened twice. The only seats left are in the status section and the downside is that I have to call, but the upside is that I can call my special line and get exit rows. I got up early and took one for the team re: OLCI right at 24 hours, only to find that it was completely unnecessary.

sbm12, our Boeing tour guide (who was the nicest ~65 year old lady, save for her rampant overpronunciation) said the same thing re: the rudders.

City tour today in 25mph wind. Good thing we got to the top of the Needle last night.

I haven't run into problems with the PDA site, but the main site is killing me. I'm not a tiny guy and seat assignment is vitally important to the comfort of myself and those around me. On that note, I scored 14 C/D and knock on wood after the 24-hour EUA just ran, there's no one else in 14 at all.

You can bet the kettles will pick up some of those seats at walk up check in.

Yeah, it's always packed. When it first opened, it looked like they were serving sushi  but last Monday when I walked by it appeared the food in the case was sandwiches now. Not that I don't love sushi, but when the IAH C food contractor really screws up nationally franchised fast food chains, their tackling of something like sushi just scares me. I never saw anyone eating it, which is probably why they've changed the food offering there.

The SYD NZ lounge is incredible. Wonderful staff, good food, great views of the airport, and those showers are amazing. After LAX-SYD in UA C, I think I took about a 45 minute shower there.
