there is the new micro bar between C and E as well :D it has been loaded every time I've been by there between noon and 6pm.
I'd not stop personally but I have to walk by it going to the C33 shuttle. |

Miserable putz indeed...I too am not a fan of confrontation in general and most especially on an aircraft, but as my posting in some places indicates, I well and truly despise people like that and I could have very much seen myself engaging in verbal repartee that only enhanced his doucheness to those around him. I, on the other hand, consider it my civic duty to point out the stupidity, rudeness or inconsideration of others in a loud and direct manner. One of my specialties is queue control. It makes her crazy at the time, but it's been good for many a chuckle after the fact. |

Yeah, I agree. I was once waiting for a delayed flight to the west coast for a quick getaway with Mrs. MBM3. We were casually dressed and waiting patiently near the podium, per request of the gate agent. Some self-important dude on a cell phone blusters up raising holy heck about the delays (both MX and WX) and really treated the GA like some sort of serf. It got so bad, that I finally asked him to back off and leave the GA, who was really working her butt off with a sold out flight, alone and reminded him that being rude would get him nowhere. He turned to say something nasty, then backed off quickly when he saw 6'4" 310 pounds staring at him. Even funnier, she announce preboarding for first and he thought it was appropriate to push by us mere peons with a snotty comment. Needless to say, I did not move one inch and the smiling GA took our boarding passes.
And yes, I may have hip checked him when he tried to push by my wife. He sulked the entire way to LAX..... |
