One would think OPEC is going to take a good hard look at reducing output and pushing the price towards $100.

County line BBQ in Concourse B is where you go.

I will grant you and ssullivan a limited license to use the term, for the right price, of course. ;)

Thank you!

What's the price?

120k OnePass miles, or a J ticket to Asia. ;)

I hear the SPG Properties there are Awesome™

I've stayed at both the Westin and Sheraton Miyako in Tokyo. Both hotels are nice, though I liked the Westin a bit more.

The Sheraton has free internet, at least last when I was there. The Westin gives you 50% off the in-room internet if you're a Plat. The lounge at the Westin was nice and also had free internet.

While the Miyako is a nice hotel, it's a bit of a walk from the subway. The Westin was a block away from the subway entrance.

On the other hand, I've had IAH-ATL flights that got me home that much sooner.

Yeah westbound flights have been insane. My flight on Monday to SF Owas 6:20. I don't think i've ever had a transcon that long. One should not be skirting along the pacific at any point on a JFK-SFO flight. We ended up north of SF and then had to skim the coast down. Truly insane. I'm glad that my eastbound flight should be much faster.

Greetings from the frozen tundra of Iowa.

fozz - I listened to the first 2 episodes of your podcast - nicely done! I found it to be very informative for those of us who do not follow the happening of other airlines/alliances.

I think you mean Interstate BBQ, and that's where I go. But the last couple of times it just wasn't up to what it used to be. And they've got a woman working the counter in the evenings who really shouldn't be interacting with customers. She can make the nastiest of UA's flight attendants and gate agents seem like Mary Poppins.

Since there's no difference in mileage earning or EQMs when redeeming Travel Bank funds, I don't really have an issue with using it. Right now I'm at $130, after redeeming the $150 or so I had back in June for us to get to Houston and back for a friend's wedding. I guess if I was able to book all my work travel on CO.com and get more Travel Bank $5 credits, I'd try and save it for a bigger trip, like a discounted first or BusinessFirst ticket someplace. But given that most of my travel can't earn Travel Bank credits, it's just easier for me to use it a few times a year and not worry about saving it for something big.

Mine's creeping up towards $900. I plan to sandbag CO with my TravelBank funds the next time there's a mistake fare. :D

Yeah I know,
I was gonna take the Narita Express train (Its not so express, but was told it is the fastest way to get to downtown)

For Tokyo I have no brand preference .

We took the express back to NRT. It's a neat train that they tried to make it look like an airplane on the inside.

Sorry I asked!

Will you consider unlimited beers and other alcohol in the PC and at CO DOs for life as an alternative? ;)
