This thread gives the current catering options for the Galleries First Lounge (Flounge) in LHR Terminals 3 and 5. This lounge is open to BAEC Gold and oneworld Emerald card holders. Passengers flying BA on a First ticket can also use the Concorde Room. The catering supplier was changed on 2 May 2013 to BaxterStorey. Click here to see the former thread, which covered that turbulent period.
The T3 lounge is identical to T5 in terms of food and drink options. However there is no Concorde Room in T3 so from 18:30 hrs there is a pre-flight dining option for First travellers, see here for more details.
The current catering options in the First lounge can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here. Currently lounge menus are not always on display in the lounge, but this link may be your best bet to see the options.

First day back at Silver ... but one last visit and breakfast on Tues 31 May in Galleries First - is the presentation (in a skillet with cherry tomatoes) and shredded ham for the Eggs Benedict on Sourdough new?
Was excellent. Need to find some folk to guest me in on a Monday morning - after 18mths at gold, back to heading upstairs and the dry rolls for breakfast.

Against better judgement I ordered the burger today in GF...and it was tasty, juicy and medium-rare... I was shocked. Better than most burgers I've had in Switzerland. Did I just get really really lucky, or are they now cooking the burgers a good bit better?
The chips however, were pretty dire.

Good the taste was better but I wouldn't want it medium-rare - a steak perhaps, but not a burger! https://www.food.gov.uk/news-updates...g-rare-burgers

Depends on their supply chain really, still perfectly possible to get E. coli food poisoning without falling into one of those categories, although agree Listeria is more if a weakened immune system. If they're not cooking it properly (although it sounds like they probably are from what greg5 has said) they should make this clear so folk can ask for it to be cooked through if they so wish.

Haha yes, I find them pretty disappointing. The gnocchi has definitely been their best effort so far - the burger/chips I find OK but not great (surprising as it's not exactly that complex a dish!)

It was cooked properly. It wasn't mushy rare inside. Just a hint of pink, and served quite hot. I did take a picture, so I'll have to upload that when I get a chance.

The Cheese inside had no flavour as it was drowned out by the dough.
Really, it wouldn't meet carnival food quality.
And yes, I have gnocchi frequently so know what I should be experiencing.
