Concorde Room (CCR) LHR : menus 2014

Concorde Room (CCR) LHR : menus from 22 August 2014

Here is the 2014 Concorde Room (LHR T5 airside) menu. All items are ordered from the lounge hosts, who can also bring you items from the Flounge menu and buffet. These items are not advertised in CCR itself, so this link may come in handy:
Galleries First (Flounge) LHR: Dining menu and food options 2013

Another old link with some useful comments on it is here:
Concorde Room LHR T 5 - dining menu

The menu changes every few weeks, and there is quite an overlap with the Flounge menu. The previous menu (13 March to 19 June) can be found here. Allergy information can be found in the photos of the menus, and you can click here for the breakfast menu, and you can click here for the menu for the rest of the day. Hat tips to Frequent_Flyer1, chris1979, KARFA, Tobias-UK and ThatT1Feeling for their very kind updates.

Photos of items from this menu can be seen here.

And my favourite part of the CCR's offering was...

Had my first ever visit today. And while I appreciate we each value different things (champers, food, not crowded...) the best bit for me was the total luxury orange juice. Proper, freshly squeezed kinda stuff. There, I've said it!

Beware-fresh orange juice is a well known cause of runny tummy. Whereas champagne kills all known bugs and should be taken liberally before any food is consumed in the CCR in order to build resistance.

Do the Galleries First lounges not have fresh orange juice? They certainly did when I was Gold and last used the GF lounge (2012).

Yes they have fresh orange juice too. If I am not much mistaken it is the same as CCR.

C-W-S thank you for posting the menu. What a relief that the duck is staying, but I am sad that they don't have the beetroot salad any more.

You're too quick! I was still typing. No, I regret to announce that the duck has flown the nest, I'm afraid. [Breakfast still under update, lots to type!]

OK, so new menu, new items. The soup will be a daily special. My dedication to FT does not extend to a daily update on the soup flavour, but today is cauliflower and tomorrow they expect it to be pea soup.

I suppose the pork replaces the duck as the thing hardest to screw up on the menu.

Any news on the grapefruit juice front CWS?

Also can I send one of the staff to go and get me some pies from the Flounge buffet? I always used to head next door when they were last an option but some of the Flounge buffet items sound more appealing now than the CCR menu especially given the relatively limited options.
