Galleries First (Flounge) LHR: Dining menu and food options

This thread gives the current catering options for the Galleries First Lounge (Flounge) in LHR Terminals 3 and 5. This lounge is open to BAEC Gold and oneworld Emerald card holders. Passengers flying BA on a First ticket can also use the Concorde Room. The catering supplier was changed on 2 May 2013 to BaxterStorey. Click here to see the former thread, which covered that turbulent period.

The T3 lounge is identical to T5 in terms of food and drink options. However there is no Concorde Room in T3 so from 18:30 hrs there is a pre-flight dining option for First travellers, see here for more details.

The current catering options in the First lounge can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here. Currently lounge menus are not always on display in the lounge, but this link may be your best bet to see the options.

Anyway Iíve asked. The person tending the bar has told me to put it into my bag. Before anyone reports him for aiding and abetting it looks like he has just finished his shift. He told me that some lounge users remove whole bottles of wine/champagne and he thanked me for asking first.

Anyway do we know if the snax and wine cans are in LGW first lounge also?
Quite keen to try them
They weren't there on Sunday.

Hope they return, I was disappointed when they disappeared.

No sign of the muffins on any of my recent trips either, are they gone forever?

Iím conflicted - while I love some ice cream to cool me down, I always feared that those additional freezers added to the (usually) boiling heat in there!

I've not seen a rodent in Flounge, so the chance you will see one are not high. But there are thousands of rodents that live in LHR, as there will be in any other such building in the UK or other temperate location. I would guess that there a 3 or 4 rodents for every human in the UK.

Saw a small rodent on the terrace in CCR about 3-4 weeks ago. It looked pretty cute. Perhaps theyíve been upgraded from GF?

New drinks

There are new new spirits on the wine island that I havenít seen before. One is spiced rum and the other is quarter strength gin. Canít see the appeal of the latter personally. Does everyone who markets a new drink send a box to BA?

I can't imagine it tastes much better than the non-alcoholic rubbish.

As I went through TFW yesterday and I didnít have much time, I had breakfast in the Flounge instead of the CCR. I then went over to the B gate GC lounge as my flight was departing from there and popped into see what it was like as I hadnít been thereís in quite some time. I was surprised to see that the hot and cold food offering was basically the same as the Flounge. Surely there should be a distinction between the Flounge and GC.
