Galleries First (Flounge) LHR: Dining menu and food options

This thread gives the current catering options for the Galleries First Lounge (Flounge) in LHR Terminals 3 and 5. This lounge is open to BAEC Gold and oneworld Emerald card holders. Passengers flying BA on a First ticket can also use the Concorde Room. The catering supplier was changed on 2 May 2013 to BaxterStorey. Click here to see the former thread, which covered that turbulent period.

The T3 lounge is identical to T5 in terms of food and drink options. However there is no Concorde Room in T3 so from 18:30 hrs there is a pre-flight dining option for First travellers, see here for more details.

The current catering options in the First lounge can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here. Currently lounge menus are not always on display in the lounge, but this link may be your best bet to see the options.

Wonderful to see smoked salmon and scrambled egg on the menu ^

Quick question re: the buffet eggs - are they cooked from fresh, i.e. Whole eggs?

Gnocchi was very good and they have some delightful antipasti out this evening too.

Menus on the table, prompt service and plenty of soft seating by the Gold Bar - I even got a footstool

Entire experience has been first class (apart from the dire gin selection but I shan't tread that path again tonight)

Good to hear, I've updated the first post with the lounge order menu, which indeed includes teh Gnocchi which went down very well last time around.

I'm in here just now and agree what an excellent selection. The antipasti was lovely and I tried the gnocci too. On the buffet there were salmon pies amongst other things. To round things off an apple cheesecake.

Undoubtedly the best food I've had in GF since being gold. ^

apologies, haven't been following this thread much so don't know how often menus rotate but was in T3 FLounge last week and again today and food has changed.

a bit disappointingly, the cold 'salad' type buffet felt 'reduced' with mackerels, ham terrine, humous and a 'superfood' salad.

hot food was BBQ beef (a la spag bol type look), a decent salmon cake type thing (not the puff pastry from last week but more like a breakfast egg type round cake thing) plus the same pasta, rice and veg curry.

There's a surprise. How long were you sat in the GF before you realised you had to serve yourself?

I had the pork belly a few days ago, and it was excellent. ^^

Probably the best food I've had in the Flounge.

Yes, it was fantastic, I probably had about five pieces.
A cheap meat that nonetheless tastes good.
