As of Oct. 26, 2015 it no longer seems possible to access the old version of the website.

Workaround for Login & "We’re sorry, but united.com was unable to complete your request." Problems:

Close United tab, clear browser cache, and delete all United cookies. Instead of logging back in using the home page yellow tile, click on the "Reservations -> Change or view reservations" link, and then login using the "MileagePlus: Sign in or join" link on the upper right of the page.

Spent time on the website this weekend researching 2016 vacation travel, and you're right, it is now much slower than it was a few months ago.

What happened to the "Today's Operations" page? It just gives links to weather.com forecasts. All the flight delay information is missing.

I can't see a month calendar view with United's non-stop flights only when searching for award ticket using the new United.com UI. There is no way that I can find out on which day of a month that a saver award ticket on United only is available. It now always includes the award level with partner airlines.

I'm definitely missing some search results. I just tried to book DEN->SJC on 1/11, and the united.com search didn't even show me UA748, which had plenty of seats available. I found it via Hipmunk and booked it on United. What's up with that?

If I can't trust the search results, I'm not going to use the site.

Just did the search and it came up at the top for me. A temporary glitch?

Next steps for the new united.com (post your comments, questions and concerns here)

I really miss the PMUA option to select an outbound and return on one screen.

Me too - it was one of my biggest complaints about the switch to SHARES, and I'm really disappointed that we didn't get that feature back on the new site.

+1. I've put that in my feedback since the change. It really helped me when planning a trip with a single meeting.

Simple schedule change this morning - as in only the flight number changed but nothing else and I was not able to accept the change on-line. I tried multiple times complete with logging out and clearing cache, cookies and history but to no avail and had to call in to get it done

Why?

Because the segment in question had a waitlisted upgrade and that was preventing the change being from accepted on-line

I find that amusing -- that was my biggest gripe about the ld PMUA site. I always wanted to know ALL of the possibilities and the all-on-one-screen display never did that for me.

Perhaps we can all agree that the constant scrolling necessary to use the new site is incredibly annoying.

Booking Question

On the old UA site it was possible using the multi city booking to get 1 way in business and 1 way in economy. With the redesign of the website that is gone. Is there any work around of this somewhere where I can see it?

Have you actually tried doing a search of your desired route? On each leg of the results screen you can choose Y or J.
