Sorry, but I can't see your result...
Always the same pop up window "login" etc... I am using 6.0.8 diamond (not R5, like you) and no update available |
Ok, that works.
Only UK**Pos shows the F fare for AF. Thanks. |
Hi! KVS is confusing VLC with VLN:

In the meantime, rest assured that the results displayed are for the requested Valencia. |

It's a limitation of the [Awards/SkyTeam] engine, but a work-around will be implemented in the next version.

Wondering if you could work on an other option for a more reliable primary search tool, Sabre/GTC is always giving errors and won't display anything within 4 hours, and Sabre/FC is unreliable as hell, and at times only shows a maximum of 4s as oppose to 9s on major US carriers. I can understand if the other specialty tools are a bit clitchy at times but the the availabiility tool? come on that's the name of the program for god sakes.
If its not to much to ask, I was wondering if i could have a PM for the response. |

"To check availability for a same-day departure, the [Time:] setting must be set at least 4 hours ahead of the current time (e.g. if the current time is 10:30, enter 15:00). Nevertheless, results will include all remaining flights, including those that are scheduled to depart within this 4-hour time window."

And yes, we are continually looking for additional sources. |
Anyone else getting Data Source errors when checking availability on Galileo?

Actually, it will -- as mentioned in the KVS Tool User Guide for the [GTC] Method:
"To check availability for a same-day departure, the [Time:] setting must be set at least 4 hours ahead of the current time (e.g. if the current time is 10:30, enter 15:00). Nevertheless, results will include all remaining flights, including those that are scheduled to depart within this 4-hour time window."

Yeah but what about the last 4 hours of the day, I've try setting for 02:00 the next day but that excludes anything on the current day, and I've tried changing time zones, but that doesn't work either. Like I said before, the specialty tools I don't mind glitching from time to time (in fact I think you do a very good job when that happens), but the primary availability tools I use and rely on very often, and i think other users would agree with me that its a huge inconvenience when it doesn't work the way it's suppose to.
In the meantime, please use one of other Availability Methods or the Mobile Companion in the situations described.

I know. I was just reporting the minor glitch. I thought I was helping.

Hi there,
I'm seeing some inconsistencies seeing CX award availability on the KVS tool, via the Amadeus: Awards/OneWorld Method (I'm a Diamond member) - For example, searching 2 First awards from SFO to HKG on November 2, 2011: KVS returns nonstop availability on CX879 (12:50pm to 6:45pm + 1). However, the BA website and AwardNexus are reporting that CX873 (1:05am to 6:45am + 1) has 2 First seats available too. Come to think of it, KVS hasn't shown me any availability on this CX873 flight even though I know some dates are available. Do you know what's going on? Thanks. |
