Hey all,

Just wondering what/if anything I can do to get KVS to display mixed biz/eco class airfares? There are a number of LX/UA/TG/VS type airfares ex MEL here in Australia that I cannot for the life of me find on KVS. I've tried all three FARE methods to no avail.....

Any ideas?

Could you please provide some examples of such fares?

Unfortunately I dont have the fare basis for them. They need to be booked through a travel agent - i can grab a webpage that advertises them but I'm really after the fare basis.

newbie question

New user to KVS...so far awesome.
Changed an award ticket to a much better itin / carriers based on searching KVS.

Ran into a snag when looking for upgrade space for a new reservation. KVS shows NC>0 on the flights. Booked on UA.com, applied upgrade, but shows waitlisted.

I then checked UA.com and, sure enough, NC=0 for the flights on their website.

Checked KVS again, still shows NC>0 for the same flights.

EDIT: just for troubleshooting purposes, this occurred for both the outbound and return, so I don't think it is just a "fluke" from a certain days data.

Diamond KVS user. UA 1K, using ITA: Awards-Upgrades / X1.

Anyone have any pointers for me? Is there something I am doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for any ideas....looking forward to learning more of the ins and outs of this tool...

Maybe I am not understanding how building a fare works. I see NC=1 for ORD-BKK as you indicated. However, when I begin the trip by adding on a DAY-ORD segment, the NC space for ORD-BKK becomes zero.

Do the fare buckets change depending on the rest of the segments in that trip?

Ah OK. That probably explains it then. I was searching for individual segments. Did not understand that these would change availabilities when combined.

Mobile companion login issue

I just downloaded the MC to my iPhone today.
I obviously have a user name.
I also have a S-00000XXX desktop system code.
However, the MC repeatedly tells me incorrect username/password.
I've also tried all my e-mail addresses with this system code.
I don't get it. What am I doing wrong?
