I'm surprised it keeps going "down" as travelocity.ca seems to be working just fine...

Indeed, it is.

Did anyone figure out who the agent BQ24 is?

Not unless you ask a friendly Sabre agent to look it up for you ;)

It looks like Galileo immediately shows whether or not waitlist is open for any closed booking class. It it possible to add "L" availability to KVS?

Can anyone tell me what @ means in this line? I'm only familiar with +/-.

OZ 214 ICN 16:30 SFO 11:15 777 0 FS@ CS@ YS@

Thanks

Given that the data is driven off of ANA's tool, its probably the equivalent of their "Request Available" indicator, which basically means they lost their *Net connection and you should just try again later.

That is actually a great idea.

Unfortunately, EF doesn't have access to all the same award availability, like *A

KVS Tool members continue to enjoy the most comprehensive award availability coverage across all 3 global airline alliances (including a 100% Star Alliance award coverage as of V5.4.0).

While the proposed 'alerting' functionality is not currently 'compatible' with the above for a number of policy and technical-related reasons, it only takes a few mouse-clicks to periodically re-check availability after adding the relevant route details to [My Trips]...

So I looked at the help page and I found:

"@" = On request/waitlist (applicable to NH/OZ flights only)

What does on request typically mean?

It means that the system cannot provide a definitive response regarding availability -- you need to request (book) a seat and wait for a response (which can take anywhere from 72 seconds to 72 hours).

New to the tool

Hi, I'm new to the tool but really liking what I'm seeing.

I hope someone can help me with this. I was looking for low roundtrip fares between Orlando (MCO) and London (LHR) for the dates April 22nd to April 29th being the return. I entered this in using Sabre DotRes and got the following:

Continental - $398 on fare basis LKWNC42S

Well, I went to the continental website and entered the dates but did not get that same fare. Am I doing something wrong here? I tried to follow the fare rules and work with that, but to no luck. Please advise so I know what I'm doing and what I can do to rectify.

If you double-click this Fare Basis and select Find Flights Using This Fare [ITA], you will see that the total would be $793 (= $398 Base Fare + $222 Fuel Surcharge + $173 Taxes).

Dear KVS!

Does the Galileo source alllow to extend the availability information for direct access airlines to waiting lists (ie Y9 ML UC on LH instead of Y9 M0 U0)?

What about other availability methods? That would be useful for those who is trying to figure out whether there are chances of getting cheaper travel.

V5.4.1 is a hotfix for [Awards/Upgrades/X1], so if you are using that Method, then you should definitely upgrade. Otherwise, it is optional.
