You'll love it!
This goes back to the beginning:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trave...tool-here.html This may be more what you're looking for: http://www.kvstool.com/?FT-TP We aren't really business travelers, but just for award and upgrade availability, it's worth the "donation". Eileen |
I'm having a problem when I search OneWorld redemption availability BGI-LGW - error message says Data source error: "Award availability cannot be checked for the specified origin and/or destination / Route too complex".
Outbound LGW-BGI works fine. Version is 5.2.0/Diamond |
O Fare Bucket for US Airways
OK, so I purchased the tool a few days ago and have been racking my brain on how to search for First upgrades on a upcoming flight. I have used the X1 tool which I presume is only for United, and the Star Awards tool as well. Lastly I have been trying to use the Galileo: Availability/ETR and have had no luck as there is no O class to choose. Please someone help!!!
Thanks, William PS I am running the latest software and am Diamond Level |

I just started using KVS this evening, and was wondering if any "new user guides" existed... I have gotten some of the basic features down, but would like to learn more about the advanced features of KVS..

Yes I looked at the user guide. According to the guide if nothing shows up then nothing is available. However I tried several other destinations and again no 0 class available.

For US O class, you need to use [Awards/StarAlliance], not [Galileo/ETR].
US O/FS (First Award) I/CS (Business Award) X/YS (Economy Award) O/FS (First Upgrade) O/FS (Elite First Upgrade) P (First Upgrade From Y/B Class) [Awards/StarAlliance] [Galileo: ETR] Which led me to believe that you could use Galileo: ETR |

A slight adjustment to the User Guide has just been made, which should help to avoid the confusion...

Just so I understand the US upgrade issue as well...
I know that "+" means availability...but is there a way to determine a quantity? Are the award seats the same as upgrades? (i.e. First?) |

LA availability - which method shows true availability?
I'm looking at booking class 'L' availability LA800 AKL-SCL around June 19.
Wspan and Apollo show L9 Sabre and Gallileo show L0  (my real problem is that the OneWorld on-line booking tool shows L0, so I guess it uses either Sabre or Gallileo) |

In the case of O inventory, yes. Not for P.
I get results such as: FS+ CS- YS- |
