yes, thanks for the reminder... I was just noting that a platform specific app would be appreciated. The Kayak app is light years better than trying to use kayak over the mweb, I suspect KVStool would be too. But I understand it is way down behind Iphone, android and even Nokia in terms of support priorities...

It is relatively easy to create a mobile application from/for an existing website. However, the main KVS Tool desktop application is too powerful (and complex) to be fully usable (or replicated) in either a website or a platform-specific mobile application format.

It's a bug in CrossOver -- the small font in your screenshot is incorrectly rendered by CrossOver as size 8, when it should be size 9.

Please download V6.0.3 -- there is now a Font Size option in the [Tools] menu. Try increasing it to 10 and post an updated screenshot...

Size 10 is not much better, but increasing to size 14 was much better. So I am pleased now. Thanks! It seem like it uses an altogether different font which doesn't look good at small sizes at all. Do you know the font name of the font it should use, I think maybe it needs to be installed separately in crossover. Here is a new screenshot with size 14.

I tried to google this but couldn't come up with anything. I'm trying to figure out how to read the operational info. I'm sure i could make more sense of it but its the same flight number for the outbound and the return. ANy sources i can reference to try to interpret it?

I'm using the seat map feature for the first time. Seems to be giving me the front half of the coach cabin but not the back. What am I doing wrong?

You're welcome!

P.S. It's actually the same font -- Courier New. CrossOver is just not rendering the non-bold font sizes correctly (i.e. it renders 9 as 8 and 14 as 9).

Each airline uses its own terminology. For example, here is a guide to deciphering AA operational flight info: FlyerGuide.com/wiki/index.php/Flight_Information-FLIFO_(AA) (Wiki article courtesy of hillrider).

In summary:
  • DEN: Departed at 9:18 am, 36 minutes late, due to Airport [Delays]
  • RAP: Arrived at 10:23 am, 1 hour 13 minutes late, due to "LTRN OPB"
  • Departed at 11:40 am, 1 hour 31 minutes late, due to Weather
  • DEN: Arrived at 12:45 pm, 1 hour 50 minutes late, due to "LTRN OPB"

Alternatively, you can use the [Amadeus Operational Info] option, which provides data in a more structured format (below is an example for a different flight):

You are not doing anything wrong -- DL had just decided to 'hide' some of the rows that have no available seats (currently these are rows 27-46).

All systems are functioning normally at the moment -- what is the error message that you are getting?
