KVS Tool does run under CrossOver for Mac (which is based on WINE): http://Help.KVSTool.com/#Compatibility

Using version 6.0.9, I'm getting the following error searching for fares using Fares/TVN:

"Sorry, reservations can only be made up to 330 days in advance. ..."

Is Fares/TVN broken?

Whoops, looks like POS was set to CA-SP1 instead of CA-STD. With CA-STD, it works, CA-SP1 it doesn't. I don't have the slightest idea what that setting is supposed to do.

I have 2 questions.

The first is whether there are other fares that AC offers, besides tango and "zapped" latitude fares, which do not display on the KVS tool?

The second is whether the KVS tool can ever be upgraded in the future so that it can display the fares not only accessible to GDS systems, but also to those limited to the airline (such as its web sites)?

Any non-published/private fares are only available via the designated channels. AC's web-only fares cannot be accessed by AC reservations agents, travel agents' systems, etc. This is done 'by design' and is not a matter of an "upgrade".

AC does have unpublished consolidator fares in certain international markets. The exact extent of AC's usage of such fares is known only to AC itself.

The 2 POS options are used to work-around the quirks in the TVN engine, so you did the correct thing by changing the POS selection.
