How do you search for availability of upgrades/awards on a specific AA flight, without it dumping you into OneWorld partners? I only want to check AA flights only. You can use the [Filter] Tab to limit the displayed results to AA flights only. |

New Diamond level user here. Love this program!
Can someone help me with a tutorial on how to display or calculate out award tickets when trying to combine DL flights with KL or AF flights? I can see where I can price out DL award flights to display miles and Also the KL/AF awards to display FB miles, etc.... How do I know what that cost will be when booking/combining DL and AF/KL flights? For pricing, you would need to consult the DL SM Award Chart at http://dmn.Delta.com/skymiles/direct/charts/.. |

How long should it take to get a registration email? I've received the Order "Confirmation" (with Order ID) email and the "Contribution" confirmation/receipt email. Should I be looking for a 3rd?
I have installed the app, Clicked "Request Registration Code", completed the Registration Wizard, and I've checked my Spam folder. Indeed, there was also a 3rd e-mail, which had been sent to you at the same time. You should have also received your Permanent Registration Credentials by now. |

Just installed the newest version, diamond level, and I keep getting 12029 errors when trying to use the "find flights with this fare" feature. There is no personal firewall, my anti-virus is disabled, I don't use a proxy, and I even tried lowering IEs security settings to essentially nothing. It refuses to work. The entire rest of the program works great, only that one feature gives me errors. Any thoughts?
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/milea...tware-com.html We are looking into alternative solutions and an update will be posted on the KVS Tool Homepage when it becomes available. |

Hi, I tend to buy premium economy on BA and then use miles/avios to upgrade to business. The availability search on the KVS tool has options for economy, business and first. Is there any way to search for premium economy fares?

Sorry, it was a daft question. Premium economy is just a set of separate fare codes in economy. On BA they are W, E and T which appear in the economy fare searches.

Greetings one and all from a KVS newbie.
I'm having some trouble using the Sabre/FS method to search for economy award seats on Malaysia Airlines (MH). According to the FAQ, "T" is the economy award bucket. The post referenced in the FAQ details also shows that "I" is the business award bucket, though this is NOT in the FAQ. When I search, I can see "I" availability, but I don't see a "T" bucket at all. Perhaps this has changed to a different letter??? A Delta PM agent just told me that the economy award bucket for Malaysia Airlines is now X instead of T. Despite that, the agent wasn't able to view X inventory and said he would have to request a seat on a specific flight and wait for MH to say whether it was available. Talk about a slow process! Of course, this doesn't answer whether we can still see MH economy award inventory using KVS. For that matter, the agent may have been mistaken about the proper fare class. Any thoughts? |

We are currently in-touch with MH and, based on their preliminary response, the new Business Award/Upgrade class is now U. Indeed, there has been a recent change in MH Award Booking Classes.

Those are the ones I'm hunting for this week. Thanks again! |
Hello forum members!
Read kvs tool FAQ page and still got some questions: When I call airline what information do I have to provide to book a trip? Fare basis code, booking class, flight # etc. Where do I get PNR, from airline after reservation is made? Thank you for your help! Happy New Year! |
Flight awards on connections. Discrepancy using KVS?
Hi, can you explain why I'm seeing the following?
This is a link to a screenshot searching for One World reward availability from TPA->LGW->MAN on 14th May 2012. It shows availability in BA Club World (CS+) on the 2166. But if I go to the BA website to book it, it shows no reward availability on that flight on the 14th May. Then I simplified the search on the KVS Tool and just looked for the TPA->LGW sector. This is a screenshot of the result which shows no availability in Club World. So, should I be able to search using KVS from TPA->LGW->MAN or must I keep to single sectors for this to work properly? Or is there another explanation? Thanks. |

For Amadeus: Awards/OneWorld Note: When searching for premium cabin awards (Premium Economy/Business/First), always check availability segment-by-segment, when using this Method. Otherwise, premium cabin availability may be indicated, when it only exists on some, but not all sub-segments. Alternatively, use the [Awards/BA-OneWorld] Method, which shows Award/Upgrade Availability on a per-segment basis. |

According to the Users Guide (http://www.kvstool.com/FAQ.php?Source=HOME#Methods):
For Amadeus: Awards/OneWorld So, I'd say either search segment by segment or use BA-OneWorld. |
For an AA flight is there a way to check the availability for a flight. I only seem that I can search per booking class. Is there a way of checking all coach classes in one search? My main goal is to see flights that I can get on to be bumped.
