For an AA flight is there a way to check the availability for a flight. I only seem that I can search per booking class. Is there a way of checking all coach classes in one search? My main goal is to see flights that I can get on to be bumped.

Hello forum members!
Read kvs tool FAQ page and still got some questions: When I call airline what information do I have to provide to book a trip? Fare basis code, booking class, flight # etc.

Indeed, there has been a recent change in MH Award Booking Classes.
We are currently in-touch with MH and, based on their preliminary response, the new Business Award/Upgrade class is now U. The KVS Tool User Guide has been updated accordingly: http://Help.KVSTool.com/#AwardUpgrad...es_NonAlliance http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/membe...ure3522-mh.png However the etour website doesn't return any flights when asked for U inventory: http://www.etour.co.jp/CRS/RefAirAva...BOARD=20121018 (translated): http://translate.google.com/translat...ARD%3D20121018 |

I have seen that more than a few people use KVS. could someone tell me if I can buy the tickets on KVS?, or its only to see seat availability?
I can already access aa.com and see the seat available, so how will I benefit from this? I'm planing a RTW trip with miles in april 2012, will KVS help me? how will it help me, I try searching and everybody talks wonders about KVS but nobody gives a simple explanation on the benefits....... do travel agencies use this ? how will it help on a MR...... Specifically for planning a redemption RTW itinerary on OneWorld, the KVS Tool supports Award Availability on all 16 OneWorld carriers (vs. 1 on AA.com): http://Help.KVSTool.com/#Classes For MR planning, please see http://www.KVSTool.com/Planning-A-Trip.php Additional usage examples can be found at http://www.KVSTool.com/Usage-Examples.php

Welcome to FT^^^^ no you can't buy tickets off of KVS. You have to use a ticket agency (online or not) or airline.

Tools like KVS and ExpertFlyer let you see published fares between city pairs, their associated rules and permitted routings, and search inventory as to find seats in the fare bucket you're after. These are all very useful pieces for constructing an itinerary (mileage run or otherwise).
While I'm less familiar with what KVS provides, EF provides award space searching capabilities for a good number of airlines. |

'View Routing Rules' Not Working?
Happy New Year all - and many thanks to the KVS Tool for making my travelling life in 2011 easier...
Is it just me, or is the 'View Routing Rules' feature not working currently? I've tried various routes and airlines, but consistently get a 12002/35761 'Request Timed Out' error. I've done the Internet Connection Test as advised at errors.kvstool.com, and my internet connection seems to be fine. Is this somehow linked to the unavailability of the [Fares/TVN] method? (I've been looking up fares successfully with [Fares/Dotres]). Thanks in advance! |

Hi and happy new year to all of you.
I am posting for the first time on this trhead (probably not the last one ;)) as I just registered on KVS in the platinum version. It looks like this version would allow you to check award availability on OW. But I get this message: The selected feature requires a Diamond-tier memberhip. Help is needed  |

codes not showing in "Fares"
Hello,
UA SFO-IAD Jan 15 flight 355 is showing availability in T, L, K, G. But these codes do not show up in the "Fares" search, if I am reading it correctly. Why not? Thank you! |

See this post from earlier this month on this topic:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trave...l#post17652792 As mentioned in the link that jasonvr had provided, Award availability for all OneWorld carriers, except JL & S7, is accessible at the Platinum level via the [Awards/OneWorld] Method. Please see http://Levels.KVSTool.com/ for details. |
