They probably taking the CDC numbers which on the CDC website says are finalized at 4 PM the day before they are posted. NY seems low on the CDC map given what the state announced today. It will probably be updated tomorrow by the CDC.

This is now confirmed. K-Bank Thailand has ceased in-branch forex and has closed all forex booths nationwide. Staff in those booths have been asked to quarantine at home for 14 days.

Small data point:
We're a small manufacturing business on the outskirts of Beijing and no one works from home in our company; all employees are required to take their temperature twice-a-day and submit it to the local Industrial Development Zone.
Business is going well, and the all-around attitude is generally positive from what I gather.
Good to hear that the company is still doing well. You are not missing too much at the moment by staying away for the time being - though you have missed a lot of clean air and blue skies

The overall attitude has indeed been positive though it is still a testing time for many. Although in the future, I will still curse the reckless kuaidi (delivery) tricycles on my cycle to work, I will also remember that they helped to keep the city running at this time!

This one simple data diagram is easy on the eyes and pleasant to read.

We analyzed more than 150 coronavirus deaths. Here's what we found.
https://www.nbcnews.com/health/healt...c-rss_20200310

and is encouraging for me: Age by itself may not be that much an issue.

I am sorry if this has been covered...I tried a search but didn't see it.
Is hand sanitizer considered a liquid when going through security?

The bottles are. I think you are allowed 3 1 oz bottles. When I went on a trip a few weeks ago I took 3 one oz bottles and some wipes in my carryon and had more bottles in a checked bag. I hadn’t checked bags in a while but it was kind of relaxing not to worry about overhead space.

CNN's front page says "US virus deaths surge to more than 700". When you click the link, it becomes clear it's 700 cases and not deaths.

Completely irresponsible and inaccurate reporting. Unbelievable.

That a web page has a mistake? When you click on the link it says 700 cases, correctly.

You've got to be kidding. With the amount of panic that's currently being fomented - including on this thread - the "World Leader in News" has got to be better than that.

That's because you've searched in the wrong forum/thread.
Is hand sanitizer considered a liquid when going through security?
Try "sanitizer" again in Practical Travel Safety and Security Issues Forum and you'll like what you find.

More incompetence by local health officials. Hopefully other states are handling this better. Hopefully.
