It's a Honeymoon for both of us. I'll just be sure to keep her plied with G&Ts and Xanax for the Ilyushin ride. I'm not sure how she'll handle 8 hours in a domestic F seat on a contraption that rattles, rather than soars, into the skies. Thank goodness Prague is at the end of that day's itinerary.

I think she'll enjoy a day of MEX, as well. I wouldn't want to spend any longer there, but that restaurant you and I checked out down there, as well as Teotihuacan, are definitely worth a 24-hour sojourn (especially if MEX-TIJ-NRT follows thereafter). :D

Thanks

Going from SQ Suites to
NH C was like getting downgraded from BF to an RJ .
and NH C was good . (the seats although not completely flat , were very comfortable and the service was great.)
The NH IFE did not have many options for a 12 hour flights , only a couple of good movies to choose from and no TV shows, and the western meal menu was not the greatest and I had enough Japanese meals in Tokyo.

Did NH C have more IFE options than NW J TPAC (which has an insufficient amount of good movies to do a roundtrip TPAC in the same month)? In my experiences a couple of months ago on NW and KE, the western meals catered out of the asian airports were not nearly as good as the Asian meals.

Sounds just like CO BF checkin at EWR and the BF experience on the 777's. ;)

Is The Private Room for F passengers on the 380 only?

Suites and paid F , no guest policy and no award flights, althought
some FTer reported they have been granted access on an award flight.
You get a special printed invitation, and without it , they will not let you in.
Otherwise the F lounge allows guests and is fine.
They had a chef carving ham , turkey beef, and he made potatoes and vegetables for a side dish .
plus their other buffet style selections.

I usually prefer 16D or 16F, but those will not be available until checkin, if at all. Right now I have 44K reserved and am leaning toward keepin it. The flight is not very full in coach.

Looks like I'll have 3x TATL whY excursions before April is done. I need to see my physician about an Ambien refill.

I totall forgot about the Ilyushin! ^ I agree about MEX - it will make it more interesting than just starting off from IAH on an intercontinental flight (unless you were in EK F). The trip definitely combines great destinations with nice aerogeek-approved flights and hotelgeek properties.

The non avod CO BF IFE had a better selection , because at least you have tv shows mixed in.
the screen was great but the selections were limited and not that great.
I would not want to do a RT in the same month.

As far as food , yeah I have heard that the asian selection is always much better, but most of my flights out of asian airports have been on SQ and they always have great food selection, or you can "Book The Cook" and pre order from their menu.

I probably will be doing another TATL in Y for my April trip, although I might just head over to KL for that one, which has a decent product on their 332's. Needed to CO for the BRU DO given the schedule and city pairs involved.

SQ's A380 will join TG's A300 on the list of aircraft to be flown during the honeymoon. Unfortunately, we won't be in the suites.

I walked around the whole plane , both floors .
All the cabins are great
Suites are downstairs and the rest is Y
upstairs is Business , and a small Y cabin , which would be the choice for me
if I was in Y. It felt like premium economy with the mini cabin feel and the seats looked very comfortable.

KE has a surprising large selection of good movies and TV shows on their AVOD. They even had travel geek fare like the Lonely Planet shows about Sao Paulo and a few other cities, and classic movies such as Wall Street. Even their non-AVOD IFE on the 332's had a good selection of new releases and classic films, plus decent western TV shows. NW has a paltry selection of decent films and a boring selection of TV.

Shi tzu can be nasty little things. A friends mother had one that hated my guts and loved attacking me, well attacked my pants at least. The other, normal one, like me.

Which lounge at LHR is better - the BD Diamond Club international lounge or the BD Business international lounge?
