I'll also be purchasing two C tix BKK-HKT. Thankfully, those are only about $350 apiece with TG (on an A300, no less!).

^ We'll be doing the same on our honeymoon and I will definitely be selecting an A300 flight. :)

Where are you staying in HKT?

Oh, good, I thought it was just me.(and maybe it still is :D) I just have the Wii Sports version of golf. - I'm fine with driving and the shorter game, but I go 'round and 'round the green with my putting.

I either blow past the hole or just come up short.

Staying at the Sheraton Grande Laguna. Despite the name, it's apparently a Luxury Collection Property. 20K points/night for a 950 sq. ft. Lagoon Villa seemed like a steal, so I pounced.

I read good things about that property. I opted for an Ocean Pool Villa at the Le Méridien in Khao Lak. The details of that part of the honeymoon are going to be a secret, so my wife-to-be knows nothing about the place. :)

Nice! What did you think of the suites?

SQ's A380 will join TG's A300 on the list of aircraft to be flown during the honeymoon. Unfortunately, we won't be in the suites.

I'll be purchasing an IAH-MSY-IAH (to get to the wedding and back to IAH to start the honeymoon), as well as a DFW-IAH (to end the Honeymoon, as our RTW became an Open-Jaw due to schedule changes). I'll also be purchasing two C tix BKK-HKT. Thankfully, those are only about $350 apiece with TG (on an A300, no less!).

I love how that trip basically an aerogeek journey masquerading as a honeymoon, like working MEX in to get a taste of the AM 777 - lol! ^

OK, that's funny...a tad pathetic, but funny.:D How can something so small be so hellish?;)

The yappy high pitched bark when you ignore her.
Eating the corners off the sofas.
Eating the armrest of a living room chair.
Eating the leather cord from the leather recliner armrest.
Think that the living room carpet is a pee pad.
Having to professional clean the living room carpet twice and while paying
the bill, she pees on it.
Digging under the fence and almost escaping.
Currently is refusing to eat unless you hand feed her.
Brings in dirt balls and chews them on the sofa when you aren't watching.
Thinks the phrase "come here" is run away as fast as you can.

:D:D:D LOL OK, you're 100% correct. This is my absolute favorite though.....

The whole experience from the check in was unreal.
It was like checking in to a hotel, then thru some secret door that leads to a private immigration line and up the stairs to the lounge .
SQ has an F lounge and inside the F lounge there is "The Private Room"
which is a lounge inside the lounge .
After some food ( Carved turkey and Ham ) and many many drinks we went to the boarding gate .
Once we got on the plane , it was like being on a private jet.
Once we took off, we found out that there was only 2 of us in the suites cabin , so the crew insisted on drinks , photos, showing us around the cabin and the whole plane. We had individual suites , but they set up the double bed for us to see them , and take pics .
It went by so fast , I took a little nap and then breakfast was served.
Even the pilot came out to talk to me and ask me if I was enjoying the experience.
A huge ^ to SQ and their crew.

Sounds just like CO BF checkin at EWR and the BF experience on the 777's. ;)

Is The Private Room for F passengers on the 380 only?

Thanks

Going from SQ Suites to
NH C was like getting downgraded from BF to an RJ .
and NH C was good . (the seats although not completely flat , were very comfortable and the service was great.)
The NH IFE did not have many options for a 12 hour flights , only a couple of good movies to choose from and no TV shows, and the western meal menu was not the greatest and I had enough Japanese meals in Tokyo.

I will be crossing continents in coach for the first time in two years for the BRU do, I am ashamed to admit, and was wondering whether I should go with 44K or one of the row 32 aisle seats on the 777. I usually prefer 16D or 16F, but those will not be available until checkin, if at all. Right now I have 44K reserved and am leaning toward keepin it. The flight is not very full in coach.
