Another, perhaps more significant question is why the person in 3E was wearing a beret.

He was leaving a very French-influenced city. @:-)

... and was the type of guy that would wear a beret. I'm thinking Professor of Jazz at Tulane perhaps.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Just overheard of the conversation of three women next to me at the bar...

1: So did you fully abstain hanging out with the other preggers?
2 (apparently pregnant but really not showing): of course not. I drank a little, and I smoked weed every night like a fiend.

Yeah, it was entertaining.

Many more references about the baby since, so I'm pretty sure it is for real.
Good times

A belated Happy New Year, Box!

T-17 hours and 13 minutes until the wedding. Made it through the rehersal and rehersal dinner, now relaxing at a hotel with my groomsmen watching the Home Shopping Network. Yep, I know how to party it up.

Tomorrow, VICTORY!

If you're watching the Home Shopping Network tomorrow night...please don't tell us. :D

One of my mom's favorite stories from when we used to live in Yokohama (80s) is when she was riding the train, they pushed so many people inside that her feet were no longer touching the ground (cork effect).

An early congrats!!! You will find that married life is sublime ;)

I'm trying to 1) keep to my Christmas gift to MR BL that I would no longer back seat drive and 2) keep my New Year's resolution to be a calmer Baglady. So good luck there, Mackieman!!!

Have a great time tomorrow!! The rehearsal is a joke. We didn't bother and it didn't matter in the end. We had to move our ceremony from outside to inside thanks to a monsoon and made the decision about 15 minutes before the thing actually started. The whole of the "rehearsal" was consumed by telling everyone to not trip over each other walking in, and to do their best to figure out how to leave in the reverse order they entered. From my perspective everything went just fine, but that is probably mostly because I was ignoring everyone else there other than my wife. ;)

Congrats and many happy years together for you. :D

Anyone else see Alabama lose tonight?? That was a great sight! I am an admitted Nick Saban hater.:D

Thanks everyone. :)

Concerning the monsoon, that is exactly what we have in store for tomorrow. I'm about an hour and a half south of IAH and thunderstorms are forecast until 3PM tomorrow; the ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4PM. I'm glad I opted to have a plan B to move the ceremony portion in doors. It's going to be a wet morning.

I'm tweaking my resume somewhat tomorrow in order to apply at CO. I would like to think that I can write well enough to be a document writer there.

The day we got married; it rained all day. We had plan B to be married inside. About 15 min before the wedding was to begin, the sun shone out of the clouds and Plan A took place with the barking sealions in the background. All was good in the world. It didn't matter to me - inside or outside; I was getting married to the one I wanted to be with rest of my life so just relax and enjoy!
