Happy Birthday! Sorry it's a late greating but hope it was great!

Since ConciergeMike brought up the virtually unadvertised ACES train the other week now running between NY and AC, here are some the staggering passenger numbers for this four car, premium service.

Feb 6 train #7165 had 23 passengers
Feb 7 train # 7170 had 3, 7175 had 28 passengers
Feb 8 train #7180 had 19, 7189 had 2 passengers
Feb 13 train # 7163 had 65, 7165 had 58 passengers
Feb 14 train # 7170 had 3 passengers

The city expects its ills to be fixed by the casinos, and the city government has zero interest in helping itself. The city also makes it legendarily difficult to do business. Being the virulent cynic that I am and having the experience that I do, those numbers don't surprise me at all.

I'm not talking about price, I was talking times (for valid connections back to the east coast).

The options are red eye or redder eye.

Don't forget the random middle of the afternoon flight.

Me too.

In a sad turn of events, it looks like I won't get on one of TG's 744s during the honeymoon. The Indian wedding () has forced me to move everything around and the only Thai flights that fit in to the new schedule are A300s (nice to pick up, but I was hoping for an A300/744 mix). :(

You're right. Not sure how I missed CO1893 when I was just searching.

The only problem with that one is it puts me into IAH just before the last bank into NYC so if I'm at all late I'm spending the night in IAH.

Every time I book a trip I'm confronted with the dilemma of sleep vs. sanity. Why can't I have both? Oh. Right. EWR.

Despite some great tech support tonight ;), I am still without a working cell phone and ATT  is sending me a new (read refurbished) one tomorrow.

Bummer. Did you try stopping by one of the stores in town? There are a bunch around and they have techs on-site who might be able to help.

In other news, I'm considering changing my FT handle to Sisyphus for the duration of the turboprop icing debates.

As a mod, can you just merge all of them into the  thread?
