Bird strikes are relatively common.

I think this is the third or fourth since the Hudson splash.

Is that lower than normal for that runway? I love the video somewhere on there where the engines of a plane rev up for take off and the people watching get blown into the water.

Not really. It's a famously short strip. Widebodies usually have to put the mains down right near the runway/threshhold line.

Steak prep is done; not faithful to the recipe so I disclaim any liability for suckiness. I found some bruschetta in the fridge to throw on top of the steak.

Now I think I am going to make me a steak for dinner tonight.

My fiancee took me to Cagle Steakhouse in LBB for Valentines day. It was great.

I have a $150 GC to Peter Luger Steak House that I want to try and use in the late spring. I hear that place is great.

Whatever you do, do not put the steak sauce on the steak. I can't remember if it was you that was at the table at the Do when we were talking about that. The "steak sauce" () is really meant to go on the tomato and mozzarella appetizer.

For Valentines day we got a 2" thick porterhouse from Wegmans. It was nice.

I wish I had a Wegmans. What beautiful stores.

I'm such a bad FT'er. I selected an RJ over mainline in favor of sleeping an extra hour and a shorter layover at IAH.

I didn't even get 12A.

Anyone fixin to be transiting IAH on 2/23, 2/26, 3/2, or 3/5?
