They do but getting a CSR to write up the order properly so that the correct tech comes out with the correct equipment can take a few tries.

With CO joining Star I haven't bothered joining.

Is this a flawed mind-set?

howdy! I'm stopping in to say hello and to meet all you fine folks who hang out in the notorious "box." I met ConceiergeMike on one of the shuttle buses at the CO DOIV, and he recommended I come on in... says there's lots of fun to be had here!

Anyhoo, I'm in CLL -- first person to actually KNOW where CLL is without looking it up gets free acreage. Consider that a hint :p

I'm about 6 months "new" with FT. Went to my first DO-type gathering in October for VJ's mileage run seminar. Learned a ton, had a blast.

My CO travel is mainly pleasure... only about 3 times a year on business. If I didn't have a sick furbaby that needs daily fluid injections I'd love a job that gave me more of a chance to travel. However, I must say my current job in marketing is pretty fun... I work with 18-24 year olds, and they keep this 42-year-old chick feeling young and energetic.

That's it for now. Wish I could head on up to NYC for your upcoming mini-DO, but unfortunately I need to attend a "death by chocolate" gathering locally that same evening. How horrifying! HA!

ciao!
carsonheim :)

Welcome to the box! You'll have more fun here than well, just about anywhere! :)

Yes -- I use BD for hotel/car rental points. Expect CO to join *A in late October.

A helpful tip of the day. In an emergency, blue painter's tape works to help seal up an Andersen double hung window and silencing the kazoo effect from the high wind gusts hitting it head on.

Comcast, nee Patriot Media, nee RCN, sucks. The selection of HD channels are atrocious and the channels they do have suffer compression artifacts. Their PVR software sucks and makes me wonder why I pay $15x2 for the privilege. They recently added download caps of 250GB, but they won't tell you how much you use until you go over it.

If FiOS is ever here I'll consider it even though I swore off them 11 years ago when I had horrible DSL service (I guess I can hold a grudge). I've even considered DirectTV and keeping the Comcast internet.

Yea, this reminds of the jerk that put their recycling out this morning but didn't tie it up (like you're supposed to) so there's cardboard boxes all over the street. Maroons.

I don't really watch TV. I'm mainly concerned with the Internet access. Comcast doesn't (as far as I know) cap business service. My router (thanks, dd-wrt!) tells me how much data I've transferred every month. I've never come close to 250gb, but I agree that bandwidth caps suck.

If only I knew who did it! I put it with my next door neighbors recycling, but it wasn't his. :o I drove down the block and saw cardboard the entire way. There was a big box stuck next to someone's SUV parked on the street. I'm sure this person was responsible for the empty soda cans I saw rolling even further down the street.:rolleyes:
