:eek::eek: That might have been worth waiting in BRU for...
Sadly I'm probably just going to use it for the trips I already have planned to Florida this spring. I've got ~60K BIS in trips identified between now and July 12. And only two of those segments (NYC-FLL/TPA-NYC) haven't been ticketed yet. :D |
This no internet at home is getting annoying. I am now in the panera bread reading the curtain thread.

I have to pack. I know I have to pack. But I have one of those headaches that is going down into my shoulders.

I am mostly packed but still have my carry on to do. For whatever reason, that seems to take forever. Eclectic mix in my bag this time - 2 days of meetings, 2 days of partying in Vegas, 2 days for the DO. |

My recent LFT-ATL was supposed to be a CR1. However, when I input N868AS into Airframes.org, the result it spit back would appear to indicate a CR2? Perhaps I just don't know how to decipher entries for CRJs properly.

I figure I'll probably throw my stuff into a bag before I leave for the airport on Thursday evening (hooray redeye flights). I am such an anal planner that I already have everything I need to take lined up and ready to go. Including your 2-fer-1 Marriott golf cert.

A carry-on with the reputation that yours has can afford to take its sweet time. When you walk out of airports, the overhead pager says that baglady's carryon has left the building. :D
I know, I know :D Good luck avoiding the sick kids! |

I will probably park late thursday night. I just need to convert my tivo files for my portable archos player. |
CO has done the "good faith-gesture" to me a few times about situations. It must be the new enhanced but this usually comes with a ETV so I will talk all the "good-faith gestures" they can give out.
In other news I had to turn in my card as the strip on the back is worn out and needs to be replaced. They gave me a temprary and say I should get by the end of the week but I may be on my 1.5 week trip by then. I should only be visiting CO lounges so shouldnt have a problem. Does any one know if my old 3 card will work? I may just bring along to make things easier. What has everyone heard of SNOW in London? I am in the lounge and noticed a BA flight cancelled to London and some Brits are talking about the London Flight cancelled due to snow. Goes to show that airports that dont get snow dont have snow plans.

Well done to you guys for lightening up the curtain thread. I wish I had something witty to add, but you seem to be doing pretty well without the help so I won't force the issue.
In other news, pictures from POS & TAB now online. Not a ton, mostly because there wasn't much to see there. I think the chances of me ever going back to POS are about as close to zero as I can get without saying never. I'd consider going back to TAB for some diving, and BW flies from Barbados so it can be done without having to transit POS. On the way home today I also learned that AA flies an ATR between SJU and POS. At 623 miles that is WAY too long to spend in a turbo prop. And I also received a CO TCV in the mail today. They sent me $125 for the fiasco with CO61 coming home from the BRU Do. They did explain the reason for the delay as a mechanical one (busted hydraulic line requiring an aircraft swap) and noted that there was no requirement to provide cash compensation since they didn't cancel, but that they were offering a TCV as a good-faith gesture. I was not expecting anything and am very pleasantly surprised by this move. ^^ Now to find somewhere to spend it. :D |
