Just bought a CO ticket using my ML points for the fiancee to come up and pick out furniture for the new place. A $492 ticket got us hosed on one way with 50% EQM's.

In other news, I'd like to applaud my HR dept. My dept's new intern is really freaking cool. She's a German national who speaks English with an Australian accent . Prior to moving to NY she lived in Argentina for 6 months.

My car had some snow on it this morning , but the 100 year storm is still coming

Does the intern know where ft dunkin is ?

A better question is, does she even know what Dunkin' is?

... she'll learn.

No, but this will be one of the truly rare instances where the Jersey Shore gets worse precip than inland areas. Historically down this way, the Parkway has served as a nearly perfect rain/snow line. My neighborhood is in the 4"+ range, while the fiancee's house is 60-some miles inland and in the 2" band.

My local forecast

Snow developing. Snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches. Highs in the mid 30s. North winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of snow 90 percent. Chance of  100 percent.

Yup. That's where she learned English.

Which is pseudo-similar to my situation. I studied for a year in BNE and took a Spanish class to fulfill my Uni language requirement.

G'Hola, mate.

It's actually cooling down to a high of 76 today. It is amazing, though, how most of the country is forecast for  at some point.

What is this snow you speak of? :p

So when The Weather Channel uses their lovely "POP" acronym, you add in a "POR"? I like that.

Poor baby. 76. :p

On a completely unrelated note, has anyone ever held a lighter to the tip of a pen to get crusty ink flowing again? Yeah, well...I welded a pen shut doing that the other day. Only in The Box do I feel comfortable admitting that level of stupidity.

That is both funny and informative. Nice job, chief. :p

In other news, I just requested an upgrade to Marriott Gold from the Marriott Concierge since I am at 49 nights right now and I would like to be Gold for the Do this weekend. We'll see how that goes.
