ssullivan, sorry to hear about your car.

Thanks! I finally made it out to the lot to check out his car this evening after spending the day covered in paint. There's another car in the same visitors lot that has the passenger window broken and glove compartment lying open. Not sure if the owner of that car has discovered it yet or not.

We watched the delivery idiots scrape the new stainless fridge up the front concrete steps and then break the base of it.

It is now in our garage as we await a replacement fridge. Luckily the nice folks at BestBuy told us to just use it as if it were ours, and a new one is on the way.

Of course, we kindly insisted that they assign a different delivery team for Tuesday. So at least the stuff is mostly off the deck in time for freezing rain tomorrow.

What a mess! I hope the delivery guys didn't give you any grief over what they did to scratch it up.

At least you're in CLE where you can just put the food outside and it will stay cold!

Went out to dinner with Mrs. sbm12 tonight. In light of the upcoming BRU Do we went to our local Belgian restaurant for moules, frites and beer. The kwak beer was quite delicious. Towards the end of the meal a couple walked past us to the exit carrying all their stuff, including their copy of the DK guide to NYC. I asked them if the restaurant was listed in the book or not. The answer was no, but he also noted that I was apparently the 3rd person in the restaurant to ask. We were all worried that we might lose out on another great restaurant to the tourists.

Welcome back! How was HKG?

HKG was Awsome. It was great, I loved every minute of it and want to go back when I have the chance in Dec 2010. China on the other hand was an experience. I went to Changping Town in Dongguan City. I do not want to go back to there.

I even got a battlefield upgrade to BF for me and a friend on the way home. I was in the front cabin and he was in the mini cabin. Full flight, no one wanted to switch.

I didnt pick it. I was able to go to HKG and China with a friend on a business trip. The company paid for them (6 employees) to visit their HKG office and their factories in Changping Town. I was allowed to "tag along" and my only expense was my $1,600 airfare. For me it was a great experice to visit someplace that far from home. I really loved every minute of it, although the jet lag did a number on me. I fell asleep 1130 on NYE when I returned to my hotel to get a jacket becuase I was freezing standing outside in TST in Kowloon waiting for the fireworks display. I kept waking up at 4am every day and I caught a cold on the plane enroute to HKg. I am just about all better now.

Oh, and I am glad I brought a chairpad on my flight. I was worth the stupid looks I got from the other pax.

Okay, now it makes sense!!! My secret for jetlag success is to get a massage when I get in. It works for me though I have to admit I still get messed up. Glad you're over your cold (almost). My worldwind trip to LHR with BL JR was a bit rough on my body. I had less than 10 hours sleep in 4 days and then hosting a NYE party was a bit ambitious (though fun). I crashed and slept until 1:15 p.m. New Year's Day and then was back asleep at 10 p.m. Three good nights sleep have helped but I realized I'm not as young as I think I am :D

If I was on CO Ship No. 202 tonight, how do I figure out the N-Reg associated with that aircraft?

Our hosts in HKG kept insisting on taking us for a massage when we got there, but I didnt want to. I just felt weird about it for some reason. I am strange like that.

I got into EWR at 2pm yesterday and tried to stay up as long as I could. I think I fell asleep about 9pm and work up about 3am. I have been up ever since with a nap here and there, but I feel like I have been in a car accident!

I was not comfortable in BF, I think I am just too damn tall. My feet were hanging off the footrest. I think next time I go, I am just going to shell out the cash and fly business on an Asian airline. I hear Singapore airlines have one of the best business class seats out there.

Oh and I am such a picky eater, I lost 7 pounds. I don't eat pigeon, chicken feet, duck neck or any of that weird stuff. The best meal I had all week was my steak in BF on the way home.

I had my own little personal fireworks display in the kitchen this past week. One of the stove burner elements decided to short out. I had quite a sparkler going until I turn off the burner.

The pound puppy from hell got her tail dyed pink today by my bored teen daughter. I'm glad my son is snowboarding in Tahoe otherwise he'd end up with pink hair, just because!

Go to airfleets.net. Search for Continental first. Then in the table of CO's fleet types, select the type of aircraft you flew. Next, run a search for "202" and look for it to appear as the last three digits of the N number. Airfleets.net splits the fleet lists over multiple pages, so you may have to search the first page, and if you don't find it, click to the next page, search again, and repeat until you find it. The find feature in your Internet browser comes in handy for searching.
