This thread gives the current catering options for the Galleries First Lounge (Flounge) in LHR Terminals 3 and 5. This lounge is open to BAEC Gold and oneworld Emerald card holders. Passengers flying BA on a First ticket can also use the Concorde Room. The catering supplier was changed on 2 May 2013 to BaxterStorey. Click here to see the former thread, which covered that turbulent period.

The T3 lounge is identical to T5 in terms of food and drink options. However there is no Concorde Room in T3 so from 18:30 hrs there is a pre-flight dining option for First travellers, see here for more details.

The current catering options in the First lounge can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here. Currently lounge menus are not always on display in the lounge, but this link may be your best bet to see the options.

Before I became eligible to enter BA Lounges I thought it would be "steaks all the way" , but as I understand it you don't even get them in the CCR ?

Is there any Lounge at LHR where you can have steak to order ?

In a recent delay I thought I’d check out the Club Lounge, never been in there as always had access to the F lounge. Was surprised that many of the exact same food and drink was on offer. I think GC actually had more buffet options. But for me the distinction is the First Wing entrance which is what I value the most over any food or drink.

Does anyone know, what the name of the champagne is, at the moment in GF? Even though I miss the rose option, I thought the current brut quite pleasant, but forgot to write down the name 🥲

Although be prepared for the entertaining back-and-forth when they ask how you'd like it done, and they gradually reveal that they won't do anything less than "medium" for some sort of health and safety/lawsuit reason...

I thought the same and may have commented as such in recent times too. It certainly never used to be that way as the grandness of the hot food you could get in GC was a bacon butty.

Had the steak last week, it was OK, but not great really. I had no such issues though... just ordered it medium rare and out it came.

Does emerald members have access to the AA F lounge or is like BA CCR or AA First Dining within Flagship lounge when you need A/F ticket to get there?

OWE is enough to get you in when flying in any cabin on any OneWorld flight.

The gin was pretty much untouched (as of today). One bottle was unopened, the other perhaps a couple of glasses taken from it?

There was of course, a nice dent in the rum. Although I suspect that a lot of people are confused that it is sitting on the wine island. I had to try it and I didn't think it had a strong spice undertone -- all I could taste was rum and vanilla.

Mash is gone, but replaced with little baked potatoes.

Please explain to me why some people put a scone and a hot pie on the same plate?

Maybe I’ve missed someone else posting this but you can no longer redress food via the QR code. I an in the Kiu fe and the message when you scan the QR code states it is only drinks and to go to the buffet for food . If this is permanent it will be a real downgrade. Even pro COVID there was a menu you could order from

Maybe it's back to just having to flag down staff again? Although there was a floating menu for that... worrying indeed!

There is no menu either on the website or physically. And I appreciate I should have proof read my last post but hopefully you all got the point - no longer able to order food; buffet only.

Yes, I got that hence my reference to the floating menus pre-COVID where you had to try and nab staff to order
