This thread gives the current catering options for the Galleries First Lounge (Flounge) in LHR Terminals 3 and 5. This lounge is open to BAEC Gold and oneworld Emerald card holders. Passengers flying BA on a First ticket can also use the Concorde Room. The catering supplier was changed on 2 May 2013 to BaxterStorey. Click here to see the former thread, which covered that turbulent period.
The T3 lounge is identical to T5 in terms of food and drink options. However there is no Concorde Room in T3 so from 18:30 hrs there is a pre-flight dining option for First travellers, see here for more details.
The current catering options in the First lounge can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here. Currently lounge menus are not always on display in the lounge, but this link may be your best bet to see the options.

Yes, I agree it is popular - that is why it remains. But I cannot believe that the BA burger would stand up to a quality/taste test of a burger that I would spend 15/$20 on in a decent restaurant (or make at home, for that matter). The quality of the BA version is so poor, it is a crime to call it "beef".

I have had the benefit of trying the macaroni cheese and I thought it was very good. Contrary to other's experiences it was piping hot to the extent I had to leave it for a few minutes to cool down!

Meanwhile I had my first experience of CX GF equivalent lounge over in T3 yesterday...... no wonder I have given up on BA completely and only use them when I absolutely have to.
I also find it interesting that those who find BA acceptable are those who travel heavily with them. I have liberated myself and used QR/AA/CX to replace BA over the last 3 years and now Emirates and Ethihad this year. It is a big world out there with vastly superior (and indeed inferior) choices to BA. I am voting with my feet for now, and can only hope BA changes direction and gets somewhere near the head of the bunch like it was 15 years ago.

I daresay, if mine was hot, then it wouldn't have been too bad taste wise. The fact that it was cold, just made it inedible. Fine dining it is not, but school dinners is a good analogy.

I pity anyone who would go to a restaurant and hand over money for a burger like that. I also refute the notion that a restaurant or burger van could stay in business serving that. Now if it cost only 1 fine, but then charities spend more on their food offerings for the homeless. I reckon the ingredients cost is even less than this in fitting with the BA/BS budget.
I accept that for some people a great meal is a trip to Wetherspoons, two meals for how much 10 or less? But when I enter the "oasis of calm" "First Lounge" is that really fitting and like I said... If Wetherspoons offered this that delightful man who runs it wouldn't have had any money to fund the Freedom Campaign removing the shackles of Brussels.
Don't mention the "chips"! Why does it have a cherry tomato in it? Dry...There's so much wrong with it... BA "Burger" is a class of its own.
Just so the message isn't lost. I very much enjoyed what was served previously and I am still yet to read one of the BA lovers admit it has gone down, presumably it means they think it's as good or better. It's very hard to accept the context of other posts made here if such truths cannot be accepted.

Wow, what a whinge fest! I'm sorry, but many here are beginning to sound like moaning Minnie's. If the offering is so poor, why on earth do you still keep going back? Why not visit one of the many establishments in the terminal and dine there?

I am more-or-less with you on the burger and 4 chips, but what I find hard to accept in this admittedly polarized debate, is that one side to this argument comes up with the photos to make their points, and the other side, for some reason, does not. Even more curious, this second group rarely, if ever, adds original content or specific information to this site. I too find it difficult to accept other comments from these posters on this and other issues, for the same reason.
). Chalk and cheese. And since when do photos suggest it tastes good? Otherwise the BA burger would be top-notch, I happen to think it looks quite nice...but dressing up a plate of peas and a few stodge pies? Now even Norma Major would struggle with that.

Edit: to say again I wish BA would invest and upgrade their offering, I find it sad BA has fallen so much relative to the market in recent years, and seem on a downward spiral with current management and strategy.

I agree with your conclusions. I get excited (read: kid in a candy shop) to visit both the CX HKG Pier F, CX LHR F and QR AlS/AlM lounges, but BA T5 GF & CCR are not even in the same league as these. Shame really, as I would like BA to do better in the quality race, but seemingly do not want to participate currently.
Now the onboard product of QR is so far ahead of BA, but the lounge.
Then again, that isn't comparing like for like, I suppose, which is GC was Al Mourjan... I'd eat out the bins rather than GC...
