Saturday evenings, AA loads schedules and runs batch processes. This means some scheduled flights might go missing, or your account may show all zeroes, sometimes well into Sunday. It will all come back.

If the website doesn't work try the app, or vice versa.

aa.com troubles? Check by using aktchi's recommended way: http://isup.me- or http://www.isitdown.us, http://www.doj.me
Or use this direct link - http://downorisitjustme.com/res.php?url=aa.com
If it is just you, try: reload the page, empty your cache, delete one or more cookies, quit and restart the browser, shut down and reboot the computer.
LRD shared: (maybe)... it's a bad cookie. I use the "Remove Cookie for Site" extension. This adds a menu item to your mouse right-click that clears the cookies for just the domain you are viewing. Works ...for example, clearing Citi cookies before submitting a second, same-day AA credit-card application.

Drunkmuppet: Go to book flights->advanced->clearhistory.

azsharonc: How to resolve the 400 errors in Chrome

1. clear you recent search history on the advanced search page
2. you can delete aa.com cookies by left clicking on American Airlines Inc in the address field
Select Cookies from the list
from the list of cookies, expand the caret for aa.com or www.aa.com
click on cookies then click remove.

Yesterday, both my daughter and I tried to change the date of our flights returning from FCO to the US in May by a few days, from a Friday to the following Tuesday. We were originally booked on the same flights. She was unable to change her return flights; the error message showed that it was due to a schedule change (5 minutes!!!). I managed to get to a screen displaying flights for the desired date; however, only PE and Main Cabin options displayed (we were booked in Business). These were not award redemptions.

We both called in. The EXP agents were able to change the return flights without any issue.

Where are you located?

I was in Europe this weekend and experienced the same thing. Every single page load brings up the opt-out cookies GDPR page. Doesn't matter what you select, it will still reappear.

half the time, the popup would load in between the old reservation layout and the new one, causing the page to not allow scrolling. Which then requires a refresh and the popup again.

It's like AA hired their web developers from sketchy sports streaming sites.

Unable to log in to account. My advantage # not found when calling in. On hold with them now. I feel better knowing wife and friend also can't login. So appears to be a system issue.

Same here. I either get the login screen again or "something went wrong" nonsense. All of my booked trips have disappeared from my AA iOS app.

At least they now seem to know about the no login issue. Instead of an endless loop to the login screen, they're now adding a pink box that says, "Our system is having trouble. Please try again or come back later." Gee, that's a big help. In the meantime neither my wife nor I can log in at all.

And now, at 1:18 Central, two minutes later, it appears to be fixed. They were out for 20 minutes or so.

I tried logging in repeatedly to the website to no avail, thought I was typing my password in wrong, pretty frustrating. At least now they are returning a "Down for Maintenance" message.

No problems for me in the app on my iPhone, seems fully functional at this point, but I was just changing seats on an upcoming flight and checking my LP balance, not actually booking a flight

Was having issues with the login screen, but even with that resolved in the past few minutes, it seems that the reservations system thinks I have zero miles when my account on the same screen shows my full 6 figure balance. Probably also why I can get through to the payment screen but then it errors when trying to purchase. Extremely frustrating.

Me too. My reservations show but my miles (among other things) have vaporized for the moment, accompanied by the following box:

Unable to display some information

Our system is having trouble. Please check back later.

Now isn't that all just peachy?

And at 1:35 Central, this seems to be fixed. So maybe all's well now?

I just stopped by to saw you have one of the best usernames ever. Now I'm considering changing mine to "Low-margin Elite". Or possibly just "Traveling Cheapskate".

I prefer "mid-tier elite" as one particular poster here used to call all of us repeatedly.

Ah, thanks and ,yes, that's but a very small vestige of former glory way back when Platinum actually meant something. Then on our current topic, I've had to clear my cache to log in lately to aa.com -- and that's never, ever happened before.
