Saturday evenings, AA loads schedules and runs batch processes. This means some scheduled flights might go missing, or your account may show all zeroes, sometimes well into Sunday. It will all come back.

If the website doesn't work try the app, or vice versa.

If it is just you, try: reload the page, empty your cache, delete one or more cookies, quit and restart the browser, shut down and reboot the computer.
LRD shared: (maybe)... it's a bad cookie. I use the "Remove Cookie for Site" extension. This adds a menu item to your mouse right-click that clears the cookies for just the domain you are viewing. Works ...for example, clearing Citi cookies before submitting a second, same-day AA credit-card application.

Drunkmuppet: Go to book flights->advanced->clearhistory.

azsharonc: How to resolve the 400 errors in Chrome

1. clear you recent search history on the advanced search page
2. you can delete aa.com cookies by left clicking on American Airlines Inc in the address field
Select Cookies from the list
from the list of cookies, expand the caret for aa.com or www.aa.com
click on cookies then click remove.

"Flight / Fare selected no longer available; please modify your request" common booking error

I'm not sure if someone else has the same issue as I have. I'm trying to book some flights through the website from AA. When I'm using any european websites of AA I receive the following error message:

Something went wrong.
We are sorry for the inconvenience, we encountered an error processing your request.

The fare for the flights you have selected is no longer available.

Please contact Reservations for assistance with making a new booking and quote 15012.

American Airlines apologises for any inconvenience this may have caused. Start a new search: aa.com (15012) (15012) (15012 - 421)
I also tried the US website the issue there is that I would need an US address for my creditcard. If I change the country then I'm automatically redirect to my country's website and I have to start search for flights again. I also tried to pay with PayPal but also this one didn't work.

So It is impossible to book any flights for the moment. I contacted the customer service but I haven't got any answer until now. I hope they fix the issue as soon as possible.

Today I called AA direclty. It seems a known issue as I heard from the agent. Not all flights have the issue. I requested to forward this issue. Maybe it gets fixed at some point.

Crazy. That should be major focus for IT department at AA to fix this. It is not 90' anymore and majority of customers buys their tickets through website or app.

Unable to book on either website or Iphone AP Anyone else having this issue?

Hello All
Long Time Lurker. Infrequent poster.
New issue. Hoping to see if anyone else having this issue, or has had this issue and what was done to correct.
I am unable to
The last couple of weeks I have been unable to make a reservation on either the AA Website or the AA AP on my Iphone.
I've tried 3 different browsers on the Laptop, just to make sure it wasn't my browser. Deleted Caches...Uninstalled Ap on the phone/reinstalled = no change.

Basically, about 2 weeks ago, I attempted booking a flight on the AA Website.
Am Able to Select cities, date--> (Continue)
Am able to select flight time--> (Continue)
Reverts back to page asking for cities and dates..... Continues in this loop.
The only error I've seen is on the Iphone ap, where sometimes, it comes back with a message to try again later after a few attempts through the cycle.

I have had to call in to make reservations which is a pain.
I've called in and asked for help a few times now (5)
Ex Plat desk transfer to Cust Service which transfers to Web Support.
I've been told a trouble report has been entered, but so far I am still unable to get out of the loop.

Today, on the Web Support portion of my calls, I was told after person spoke to supervisor that this has been reported by others, and they hope to have a resolution soon.
I suspect that the other reports are all from my couple of calls.

Just wondering if there is anyone else out there who has this happening to them, or has happened to them, and possibly what they did to correct the issue.

What sort of flights are you booking? Can you share the date, origin and destination so we can try?

Thanks for your reply. I have tried booking a few different flights over the last couple weeks.
Mostly one ways...
Today was:
DFW to VPS (Destin, FL) Weds 22MAY
VPS to DFW 24MAY
Last week I tried booking...(Eventually gave up and called in to book each one)
DFW to CVG (Cinc) on 3JUL
CVG to DFW 6 JUL
SFO to DFW 29SEP
I have to believe it is something with my account as it happens on the website on the laptop and also on the Iphone Ap. ??
My wife can login under her login and book these flights for her, but for some reason when I add my account to the mix, it goes into this weird loop and I need to call in to book??

It really is an inconvenience. I get into the loop when booking paid for and reward flights. Doesn't seem to make a difference. ??

I reported this exact behavior a few days ago. I'm still experiencing it using multiple browsers and on the app on the iPhone.

The workaround for me has been to go to aa.com, *NOT* log in, construct my itinerary, click on continue as a guest when presented with the option, then enter my name, AAdvantage number, pick seats, etc., and pay for the ticket.

Then I can log in and view the itinerary on my account. I chatted with AA (website chat) and they told me that no one else has reported this problem but that they will "look into it".

I will try your work around next time I need to make a reservation.
I really wish they would get this sorted as it is an inconvenience.
I wonder how logging in as a guest will work if I try and book a reward flight?

If you have the time, please report this to AA in detail. The more reports they get, the higher the chances they will do something about it.

Thanks for the input.
I have called 5 times now. Starting with the EXPLAT #--> then getting re-directed to other places (2-3 different depts depending on the call.
I tried going through the chat but that petered out when after explaining things multiple times, they responded back asking if I was needing help booking a reward flight??

Last nights call ended up with "WEB SUPPORT" letting me know that they contacted their supervisor and was told that others had reported as well. No resolution, but hope for one soon.

Thanks for your input. TBH I am not sure how I would send that to you, but am glad there is someone else out there with the knowledge to know what they are looking for. Maybe AA has one of their crack tech/engineers on it.
