Saturday evenings, AA loads schedules and runs batch processes. This means some scheduled flights might go missing, or your account may show all zeroes, sometimes well into Sunday. It will all come back.

If the website doesn't work try the app, or vice versa.

If it is just you, try: reload the page, empty your cache, delete one or more cookies, quit and restart the browser, shut down and reboot the computer.
LRD shared: (maybe)... it's a bad cookie. I use the "Remove Cookie for Site" extension. This adds a menu item to your mouse right-click that clears the cookies for just the domain you are viewing. Works ...for example, clearing Citi cookies before submitting a second, same-day AA credit-card application.

Drunkmuppet: Go to book flights->advanced->clearhistory.

azsharonc: How to resolve the 400 errors in Chrome

1. clear you recent search history on the advanced search page
2. you can delete aa.com cookies by left clicking on American Airlines Inc in the address field
Select Cookies from the list
from the list of cookies, expand the caret for aa.com or www.aa.com
click on cookies then click remove.

Finally I got an answer from AA about my website complain. It seems that they just sent a general answer and at the end nothing will happen. At least for customer outside US/UK market.

Unable to pay for award reservation online

I booked a partner award today on CX/JL for December but when I tried to pay for it (taxes) using my saved credit card, I kept getting an error message like "Something went wrong......" or "Our system is having trouble......."
Eventually called Web Services and they said they were aware of the problem and only way to pay for it is to put it on hold and then call them to manually process a payment. (He could not say how long the problem has been ongoing or when it would be fixed!)

I did the manual payment and it ticketed instantly and I could see the booking on both CX and JL websites. (However CX would not let me assign seats, but on JL website I could assign seats for both JL and CX flights.)

Thank you AA.com for not allowing me purchase an award ticket with one-stop connection (via DFW). I ended up getting an award ticket with two connections (CLT and RDU). Each flight was nearly flawless, if not flawless, on time arrival (with less than an hour of connection time), and I slept like a baby on all three flights.

The flight ex-DFW ended up canceling - good looking out

So in some cases it is not a bug but a feature to not allow people to buy tickets..

Anyway couple of days ago my colleague was trying to buy himself last minute one way ticket on TATL flight, but the very same problem. He was in US and was trying to use MC card issued by European bank and ended up calling the agent instead. Crazy that such a problem last for more than 3 months and who knows how long it was there before.

Well, I am outside the US currently, and want to book some tickets. I can fully utilize the US website, but the minute I try to log on, I end up at this page: https://www.aa.com/sorry.html

It was intermittent for a while, but now it's pretty much constant. Mrs. Pickles has the same problem.

Any thoughts?

I will try my query here, but let me know if there is a better thread. Is anyone able to redeem miles for a transcon in F from IND to SFO via JFK? I can only get business to show up but no F. It should be available at some price as it would be all AA metal.

Please advise.

To check seat maps, I use the "Plan Travel" tab, then "Flight schedules and notifications" sequence on the website. This now seems to only send me to "Book flights" page. Does anyone else see this? [Windows 10 / Firefox]

Is anyone else experiencing this issue on the Android mobile app. I try to go into details on an existing reservation and it just spins. Works fine on the website (although slow).

blue banner "connection error" in app

Anybody still having the blue banner "connection error while retrieving your reservations" message in the iOS mobile app? And won't show any of my upcoming trips on the home page

has been there for me ever since that big nationwide data/downage issue that hit a ton of companies a few months back

tried uninstall, logging out, chatting support, etc and nothing will fix it... (sorry can't post pic of the blue banner, i'm too new)

Unable to book any partner award flights

Not sure if it's just my account somehow but since yesterday I noticed that whenever I try to book [trying to get to the select passengers screen] I get the dreaded "Choose a different flight or fareWe're sorry but at least one of the flights or fares you chose is no longer available" message.

That's not an issue when I select an award flight on AA only metal or Alaska.

For example I've tried award flights between JFK - LHR direct flight on BA for random dates going as far as August 2025 but unable to book through desktop, phone browser or app.

Can anyone confirm if they're experiencing the same issue or is it just me?

I have issues with AA.com and Firefox .... When you get to seat selection it times out .. Same with coworkers... I sent email
to AA only to get a reply that says it seems to be a compatibility issue... yeah no kidding ...

Thanks for the reply and thread link. I've gotten that error in past but chaging dates and airports usually takes care of that and I can get as far as the screen with option to hold the reservation.

But since yesterday it is happening with all non AA award flights with far out dates into 2025. I've called AA reservations line and they've confirmed that there isn't any issue with my account, so I'm kind of lost as to what can be done about it as I want to book flights within next few weeks.
