Saturday evenings, AA loads schedules and runs batch processes. This means some scheduled flights might go missing, or your account may show all zeroes, sometimes well into Sunday. It will all come back.
If the website doesn't work try the app, or vice versa.

Works ...for example, clearing Citi cookies before submitting a second, same-day AA credit-card application.

Does clearing your cookies/site data help? I sometimes get 431 errors on other pages and clearing cookies usually helps.

For the last couple days I've been getting this error trying to load promos in the Android app, and a similar error trying to view account/earning activity. Clearing app cache didn't help, but logging out and back in again seems to have fixed it, so if anyone else is seeing the same thing, give that a try...

Overheard last week during post-landing announcement while taxiing, the FA recommended that passengers just go to Google to check on connecting flight status since it's much faster than using the AA app.

Searching for award flights this morning. On the calendar view, there is no longer a right arrow to move to the next month. There is only a left arrow to move to the previous month. (Search date was April 15, 2026, YUL-DOH, nonstop),
I am on iPad. Happens in both Safari and Chrome.
Can anyone else confirm?

Great tip.... now, if I only knew how to clean only a single websites cache (and not the entire browsers, which is a pain to re login back to all the usual places).... not to mention how to do this for apps from my cellphone..... (sigh)

Same thing happened to me for two days when I was attempting to book a trip to Paris travelling next month. I eventually gave up and called to have an agent book the flights for me. The agent couldn't find the flights even though I could see them on the apps and website using different phones and computers. Since they were operated by BA even though they were marketed as AA, I checked BA just to see if they had any flight departing at the time AA was showing. Low and behold they did not. The other flights are now priced at $11,000 - which is just crazy talk.

Just tried on laptop with Chrome and all is working fine. But the same search on iPad still results in a calendar view where i can only go to previous month. I guess Ill need to start my search 331 days out and work backwards. 🙃

Web site enhancement?
AA automatically populates my info as usual when making a booking but if I want to change FF# to another OW carrier it requires me to delete all my info.

Don't think so. Any time I've ever changed any of the prepopulated info it requires deleteion of all data.

Phantom Check-in Alert
This is a new one for me, but then again I can't recall the last time I cancelled a ticketed PNR. Anyway, my flight to PSP was cancelled multiple times with the recent storm, so I ended up cancelling the ticket for a refund with no viable options left. The reservation is no longer anywhere to be seen, and I got an email confirmation of the refund a few hours after I cancelled. However, today about 3pm CDT would have been the check-in time for my return flight, had I taken it, and the APP sent two push notifications that it was time to check-in for my PSP-PSP (NOT PSP-xxx) trip. (For valid notifications, I also get an email, which did not occur.) Just wondering if anyone else has seen this odd behavior?

"Act now for a credit towards a future trip" errors
When I pull up my MSY-LGA reservation, either on the website or using the "Manage trip" link on the app, I get the standard "Act now for a credit for a future trip message," which continues:
(Could I please ask a favor and ask that we not use this as yet another opportunity to bash AA's IT folks. Yes, the website and the app are not perfect, but they've worked pretty well for me most of the time. The issue I am experiencing clearly is something that needs to be fixed. We get that a lot of you are smarter and more talented, and probably better looking, than everyone else, including AA's IT folks; you don't need to show that off here.)
- If your travel plans are flexible, we have a limited time opportunity for you.
- Offers may include a chance to join the volunteer list or a flight change.

It could be any number of things. It could be AA writes a generic message for a multitude of situations. There might be an integration into reservations that has broken. Some of their IT is run by third party software. We probably will never know because none of us work in AA IT.
