Right. But the tool above doesn't seem to show R class. Any suggestions?

ExpertFlyer.com will show AC R class as well as I class but not X class.

I used to use KVS to check for upgrades, and then my home went all Mac, so it became a hassle to load Boot Camp on VMWare simply to check a flight.

Have you tried Parallels?

I did but threw it out after their last upgrade blew up my Boot Camp partition. Still a huge amount of overhead to check a simple flight. A Mac version would be great!

KVS Tool saved my friend from a transpac in coach!

I just started using the KVS Tool last week and haven't had much experience with it ... but wanted to share my first real use of it.

I was chatting with a friend who was going to be traveling SFO-NRT this coming saturday and she was complaining that ticket was purchased too late and she was stuck in a E- seat (United's non-Economy Plus section) and in the middle. Ouch. And she's a 1K flyer.

When I heard that I knew there had to be another option. I loaded up the kvs tool and check availability and wouldn't you know it, the entire flights from SFO had no business class seats available. (Her company won't pay for F but will pay for C/J.) The tool did show C/J availability for the flight SFO-SEA-NRT and after telling her this info, she called the company's travel agency and got her flights switched.

Just wanted to pass along a big ^ to the team who worked on the KVS Tool. You guys rock!

Could be the same issue as with NW fares (reported by Keter above) -- pls use Fares/TVN for now...

It shouldn't really matter for Fares, and there is also the DotRes option, once you have a specific date range in mind...

Right, it is the same error message (Datasource error. No fares were found ...). But I really enjoy how fast PSH method is.

It's always a pleasure to read KVS Tool users' success stories -- thanks for taking the time to share it ^.

Calendar week starts on Monday - did this change recently?

I've been using and enjoying KVStool for a long time as a platinum contributor and love it.

However recently I noticed that the calendar starts on Monday not Sunday:

Code:

M T W T F S S
I swear it used to start on Sunday:

Code:

S M T W T F S
Am I dreaming or imagining this? If it did change, can I set it to start on Monday as a configurable option?

Thanks,
-C

All date-related formats throughout the KVS Tool have been recently brought into conformance with the international conventions, used in the travel industry, as well as the ISO standard. This includes weekday numbering (1=Mon, 2=Tue ... 7=Sun), so the calendar layout is now consistent with this convention.

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 4:37 am.
