There are at least two workarounds that obviate the need for having any miles in one's account when using the website. To the best of my knowledge both of the previously published solutions still work.

How can one search Jet (9W) for awards for travel to BRU? Do you go by fare classes under availability or under awards?

Another irritant is that when you filter results for award classes, e.g., Z and R on IT and save the search, it does not save the filter, so you have to look up the filter for classes again and again...

Unfortunately, you can't -- please refer to http://Help.KVSTool.com/#Classes for details on supported award/upgrade booking classes.

Am trying to look at routing rules, and am getting the pop-up message:

Kenya KQ award availability

KVS:

I continue to have a very difficult time finding award availability on Kenya Airways. Can you locate ANY award availability on KQ? I am trying to use Delta Skymiles for award travel to/in Africa. Five different calls to Delta failed to find any award availability on several possible award itineraries over a broad range of dates.

In frustration, I called Flying Blue and they are able to see significant award availability where Delta or KVS cannot. One csr mentioned that for Flying Blue, the business class award bucket is "O" not "D".

Something is amiss? Thanks for any help.

We are currently looking into an issue with this Method, which affects users with 'Double-Byte' (e.g. Japanese, Chinese) systems. An updated version will be released shortly.

Just a heads up - the tool is no longer correctly reporting availability for BA awards.

LHR - CPT on 30th Oct using KVSTool shows as "no award availability"

Logging on to the BA website and doing a redemption search - brings up 1 First Class seat on this route.

Sabe Availability/GTC not worlking

When using Sabre Availality/GTC get constant "Datasource Initialization Error" with rev with 5.7.8
