New UA Award Feature - Code Definition

Can you advise where I can get an explanation of the award codes that show up under this new feature? These appear to be the award codes (NF1 XF0 NC0 XC0 G1 NY2 XY2) but I'm not sure which are upgrades and which are for seats?

Thanks!

I see that you have used an @gmx.de e-mail address, and that server rejected the reply, which contained your Registration Code.

Is it possible that you can send me the code via PM? Otherwise I'm going to try it again with a other email adress ...

Have no fear. I've contributed in the past and always have been treated well.

HI KVS - Just started using today.
How is the RTW function used to validate a trip say against the Oneworld Explorer rules?

I see the list of fares that it brings up but maybe I'm missing something.
I was hoping that this tool would validate the availability of a chosen RTW itinery say IAH-LHR-SIN-SYD-IAH and show if on chosen dates such a trip is available on the Economy L booking class code rules.

Does it do anything like this or do I need to check each leg separately. If it does not, is there a tool that does such? The oneworld website will validate a route, but will not check flight availability let alone booking class for you.

The RTW option shows RTW fares and complete fare rules. There is no Tool in existence that will validate an entire RTW -- it's always a [semi-]manual process.

Infini

Hi KVS,

Can you please add INFINI (1F) on my PNRs function in KVS Availability Tool?

INFINI URL is as follows:
https://www.tripple.jp/itineraryUser...100/u0100.aspx

Thank you.

Thank you.

I have looked into this, and it is not currently technically possible to add support for this GDS.

I have noticed a few fares coming up on KVS for airlines that do not fly nor codeshare into YQR. Is there any way to book, for example, the fares noted below? If not, what might their purpose be? Thanks.

UA YQR LON 723 CAD Sun 12M WLXAPCE
BA YQR LON 833 CAD Sun 12M VLWNCNA

Yes, these are perfectly valid fares. For the UA fare, one of the possible routings is AC to YWG, then UA to LHR via ORD. For the BA fare, it is AC to YYZ, then BA to LHR.

You can book by calling UA or BA Res respectively.

Is anyone else having problems with the Amadeus timetable function? Since a week or two, sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn't work, it just keeps on showing "transfering data..." but nothing ever gets transfered. I've done some trouble shooting with the tool page but it still doesn't seem to work out.

Mostly, when I first open the tool, I can do two or three searches but after that it's done. What's more, I have exactly the same problem on a different computer in my office.

Thanks for the help.
