KVS,

I just noticed that LH has pulled I-class and O-class availability this morning from Sabre/ITN, and all other methods - can you confirm?

Thanks!

Edited to Add: *Of course* this has to happen on the day I ticket!

Expert Flyer also showing same results....

LH's O/I/X availability is episodically shown in Sabre (this has been the case for ~2 years now).

However, it is always accessible via the [SNT: Awards/StarAlliance] Method in the KVS Tool (O=FS, I=CS, X=YS).

When FOREX rates cannot be obtained, the Tool will automatically revert to showing ZUJ fares in SGD/HKD.

I had the same experience yesterday but it only lasted for a short time. It was giving prices in SGD. Looks like a temporary problem that was quickly resolved.

Working OK, this AM.

Is there someway I can access flight durations in KVS - SNT: Awards/StarAlliance or even under Sabre: Fares/DotRes?

This information is available via [Apollo: ITN] and [Amadeus: Timetable].

PNR -- what is it? Passenger Name Record?

Where do you get the PNR Locator from?

The screenshot doesn't tell a lot.

That just refers to your booking confirmation code :) ...

Thanks! Is there anyway to find the miles/distance between two airports, e.g. LAX-NRT?

Search for availability on the route that you want. Once this is displayed click on 'info" which you will find on the right of POS. This will now show you the flight time and distance for that particular flight.

Thanks! Once I entered the info using SNT: Awards/StarAlliance, I highlighted the specific flight and then clicked on "info". It asked me to enter the date, airline code and flight # which I did. The "function" scroll down menu showed flight status. Once I click GO, it actually takes me to a different website www.flightstats.com that's asking me for a username and password..........hmmmmmm......

All I like to see is the miles/distance when I select a segement using *A award option......help!

Cheers.

I don't know of any way to do it under the *A search option. A simple way to do it would be to do a search under Apollo and then follow my instructions above. Why complicate things? ;)

Yes, via [Apollo: ITN] (as described by lallyr above).

Hmm. Put in my confirmation number, and other information, for a DL flight, but doesn't seem to work. It launches the DL itinerary page, but then does nothing.

GivenRandy Jun 2, 2008 6:32 pm

Then, again, maybe that IS what it is supposed to do. I was expecting the lower pane to be filled in with something, but I was probably mistaken. Still, having the flight information right there is a benefit.
